If a top level team gets 6 or more rounds on their Inferno T side they rarely lose the map. Just look at the recent matches on Inferno on HLTV between the top teams.

Honestly I like almost all the maps. Dust2, inferno, nuke but not too much of it, cache is great, overpass is lots of fun, haven't played alot of cbble but I don't mind it, the new train has been fun the few times I've tried it. Also only played season a few times but played it alot in source.

Both Train and Cobblestone have been growing on me as I get used to them. Same way Overpass did. Part of that is that Train has never played as heavily CT sided for me though, so maybe the more people play it and get used to it the less I'll like it. I've never really liked the more CT sided maps.

Or I guess I should say I've never been good at the more CT sided maps. I'm not going to call them bad. I just can't hold my own so well on them for whatever reason.

Operation Bloodhound Missions made me play Overpass, Train and Cobblestone for the first time and after playing them a couple times I keep going back to them.

Don't think I've played either Dust2, Mirage or Inferno in a week or so now

not got anybody to queue with at the moment as everyone is all over the place visitng family because it's the start of summer, so i tried solo queueing

2 games, 1 on overpass 1 on cache. the first game I'm screamed at by a german for "being too chatty" when literally the only words that ever came out of my mouth were "1 long, 2 fountain, 1 playground, bomb down connector" we then lose because the rest of the team is apparently too afraid to talk (meanwhile the german and his friend were happy to just scream abuse at people and not call all game)

2nd game we lost because there were two polish kids taking the piss out of a russian guy, simply for being russian. the russian couldn't handle it and abandoned

the most infuriating fucking thing in the world is players that use their mics exclusively to shit talk, offer no help and give no information, and scream at others for doing stuff wrong instead of giving some sort of constructive feedback

This is one of the few reasons I'm glad I live in America: my matchmaking toxicity is generally limited to one guy getting pissy because someone of missing a shot or two and/or someone being racist.

Both of which are things I can ignore if they're actually playing decently.

Haha we just had the most unlikely win on nuke:
It was 15-11 for them, us on CT. At the start of the round, one of the enemies gets an abandon for teamkilling, thus leaving us with an ez 3v5. Few moments later, all but one time out, turning it into a 1v5. We chase the last guy down and he surrenders before the freezetime ends.

I was actully really suprised valve managed to create a new competetive map that actully works so great. What I like about overpass is that it's a really different map layout but still works so nice :)
