Lot of people getting it compared to the other rares.
i have gotten nothing but consumer grade skins my entire time in csgo the highlight of my drops history until now was getting dropped a 5-7 nightshade so im pretty happy edit: not exactly sure what i should do with it though. Should I sell it now, sell it later, or just keep it?
can you guys stop posting case unboxings? you made me spend 60$ for 2 pinks worth shit
So I'm in round 2 of this amateur league called RPL "Rising Pro League" http://www.twitch.tv/playrpl/b/672953754 We had a match scheduled for earlier because apparently 11pm on Friday night is the only night the other team can play. I actually gave up a shift at work to be here for it and whoever is in charge cancelled the match halfway through (presumably because of mad) to "investigate" one of our players. It's just small fry stuff but it's still bullshit. [editline]26th June 2015[/editline] Also just found this reddit link too. https://www.reddit.com/r/GlobalOffensive/comments/3b9ppz/rising_professional_league_scam/ The guy that runs it and the dudes from Anomic are apparently friends.

Apparently the organizer of the league used to be a part of the team we rekt round 1 as well. [editline]26th June 2015[/editline] Yup we're banned. He's accusing Zen of using aim hacks. This is shit.

[editline]27th June 2015[/editline] Like this is flusha level witch hunting if they are accusing him "looking roughly in the general direction of player behind wall" which all the players did...
That's funny cause he was joking about changing his name to flusha when they left us paused on the map. They wont even provide a demo, oh god what a joke.
Queued with a friend who was MGE (still a nova 4 here). The two rounds we played (with a five queue) we went 5-16 and 2-16. Some of the people we faced were nova 4 and MG. Is it common to see a skill difference among people your own rank? I got it yesterday.

It seems like some ranks represent a larger scale of MMR, I found this especially with DMG, where you have a lot of badges but some are playing closer to MGE and some are playing closer to Eagle. Takes a while to rank up.
Imo, all the people in a given rank, if given enough time, will have similar performances. Inconsistency plays a large factor in how well you perform in a single game, but over time, everyone averages out. In other words, you can wreck shit against people higher rank than you, while in other matches you get matched vs people with lower rank than you and lose 16-1. In the end, for every bad match you have, there's probably a good one waiting for you in the near future.

Have these people ever seen a hacker before? I have played against quite a few in matchmaking and they do not look like this. This is so hilariously incompetent. If you are running a tournament it is not even your job to look for hackers. Accusing a guy of hacking 100% when you have seen half a game without anything actually blatant happening is ridiculous. I hope these guys don't actually use overwatch. Hearing these guys talk makes it worse, they are trying to convince themselves that everything the guy does is cheating.
Question: is opskins safe to use, or should I stick to the steam market and csgolounge?
It's safe
After two long months in Nova Master purgatory, I've finally crossed the threshold into MG1. And let me tell you, I've already seen some shit. :v:
Question: is opskins safe to use, or should I stick to the steam market and csgolounge?
Honestly, if I got a massively expensive skin like more than $1000, I would just sell it with them rather than deal with trading. And then (hopefully) never gamble again.
Man I hate queuing with randoms. Sometimes it's a blast and sometimes no one but me has mics. I thought this wouldn't be an issue by gold nova 3 but I guess it is.
I never use mic because no one would understand my finnish rally english anyway, so i just write or use voice commands.
I don't have decent mic either to use it. I usually use in game voice commands but not everyone understands what I try to say. Sector Clear - I say when the spot I was guarding and nobody came. Affirmative - Basically I agree with what team mate said over mic. Negative - When I disagree with what was said, such as Rush B again (even though we just failed doing that) Need Backup - When I guard one spot and more than 2 opponents arrive (such as Dust 2, when I am guarding short and I see more than 2 opponents show up) Many players understand when I do that and bots too (sometimes)
not using a mic is a massive issue because you can't make callouts efficiently, no you can't type fast enough
People can be really annoying on mics especially when clutching but I feel when a team uses mics correctly they are at an advantage over those that don't. I find reading text takes my eyes off of where I am looking and the callouts don't reach me fast enough.
the point is you're doing a massive disservice to your team by not having a mic and overall have a lower chance of winning the match
I never use mic because no one would understand my finnish rally english anyway, so i just write or use voice commands.
Post a recording of the finnish rally english and we'll judge if it's intelligible?
Lets just say last time i tried to communicate via mic, people couldn't understand what i was saying so i just went back to typing. (It was faster to type something once instead of repeating 5 times for someone to understand)
I never use mic because no one would understand my finnish rally english anyway, so i just write or use voice commands.
i love the finnish accent ever since i've seen this video
Guys which version looks better do you think? It's unfinished btw, I am just working on colors right now.
