This was on Gold Nova 3 :(
This game felt impossible to play, usually when playing, I feel its hard to kill some players but this one was just impossible to kill, I knew the moment I pop out I will get sniped in milliseconds.
No matter what I do or how long I play, I either:
1) End up winning easily and usually I am top player.
2) End up being worst player and losing.
3) End up being somewhere in middle, and usually losing by 16-14.

Instead of trying to see if someone is cheating, watch them and learn what they do so you can improve upon what you do.

Why the fuck is matchmaking putting me up against DMGs.
The gap between MGE and DMG is GIGANTIC, there should be another one or two ranks in between.
Not fun to get stomped every game because you get instantly shot in the head if you peek a corner.

Prefiring is a skill that is pretty hard to master just because of the gamesense required to do it effectively. It's not something I really utilize but if you can get the hang of it you can basically net yourself some kills on guys that lost the fight when they chose to hold a certain spot.

There's not even that big of a skill gap between the LEM/SMFC/GE ranks. If you can compete at MGE you can compete at DMG just fine. You don't only gain that rank once you pass an instant headshot ability check.

I was able to drop 30k against MGE and below teams, but add a few DMG's and it's nowhere near the same.

Eg, the game I just finished was a team of MG1/MG2's and ONE DMG vs our entire team of MGEs.
The DMG dropped 42 kills and they won.
CSGO SURE IS FAIR AND BALANCED.

i've played with mg1's that are as "good" as dmg's, i've seen novas that are as bad as silvers, i've played against smfc's that are worse than me at lem
we've all told you a million times that ranks are really rough estimates and in my opinion mean fuck all. silver-nova = skill range 1, nova-mg = skill range 2, mg-mge = skill range 3, etc etc. ranking up from say mg1 to mg2 does not mean you're a considerably better player than an mg1 or even a nova 4, it likely just means you've played more games or have had luck of the draw with matchmaking (i.e getting lucky to be put against bad opponents or teamed with good players)

i have a friend of a friend that's obsessed with going for knife kills / sick ninja defuses, can't control his spray for shit and makes awful tactical decisions and he's a higher rank than me mainly because he plays 5 matches a night whereas i tend to only get 1 in, that's 5x more likely than me to win a match and gain positive elo towards ranking up

not to mention the fact that some people just have bad days, some people are more tactically minded and work better in a team of their friends rather than a solo queue and so on and so forth

Would you rather play against the same ranks forever and be stagnant? If you are stomping people at your rank of course you are going to start being matched against better people, it is how the whole system works. I don't understand what you are complaining about.

Never give up, I felt like that untill I started putting alot of effort into learning from my mistakes while I was nova 4 and im LE now.

That's how I always end up as well, but then when I check the ranks, when it's the second or third result, then they're always quite a bit higher than me. It just really takes a lot of practice and a bit of luck.
