I don't even remember how many times I've won a match that went 13-2 first half in favor of the enemy team. The reason why you lose and suck so much at playing (blaming people for hacking and aimlocking) is because you have no resolve to play or to get good. You give up 6 rounds in out of a 30 round game which leads your team to losing because it's playing 4v5 from that point forward. I get the feeling that you're one of those pricks that abandon games before the rifle round because the team couldn't get much kills during first 3 rounds. Seriously try to get your mindset better before whining about that.
Never blamed anyone for hacking. I tried many weeks to get better playing everyday for many hours and did not improve at all. I have reached my skill ceiling and now want to derank.
I've come back from T side of Nuke 1-14 back before.. It's not impossible, jeeez...
ye but you're silverthing :~) a lot of cs and competitive games in general is psychology, sometimes teams need a little push to get the ball rolling and then they become unstoppable for the next 10 rounds
ye but you're silverthing :~) a lot of cs and competitive games in general is psychology, sometimes teams need a little push to get the ball rolling and then they become unstoppable for the next 10 rounds
This is another common myth, somehow magically how you feel affects your skill level. It's utter crap, you don't become amazing just because you feel great today, "psychology" doesn't affect your aim. You play the same whether you're convinced you'll lose or convinced you'll win, it makes no difference.
Well as expected we lost the game. The really harmful thing is this optimistic mindset everyone seems to have "Oh no we will come back", when really, if the enemy team has gotten you to 1 - 6, just accept that they're better than you and leave.
I've come back from shit like 2-13 and won, multiple times.
Why not just add a surrender button and end the match, it's obvious from round 5 onwards who will win 90% of the time.
There is one. Also surrendering is an act of coward :v: Just saying...
Psychology affects my aim a lot. Also surrendering is an act of coward :v: Just saying...
I'd say abandoning is more cowardly than surrendering.
I'd say abandoning is more cowardly than surrendering.
Abandoning sometimes has legit reasons, if someone you know falls on floor with heart attack, I doubt you will honor the game team and finish game before helping out. But yeah, abandoning on purpose is shit.
I really need to learn when to stop playing. Won 3 games this afternoon, the enemy surrendered once and I got an ace, 35 kills and called a hacker in the last one, almost ranking up from SEM to GN1. Then, during the evening, I get invited to game by one of my MG1 friends who was drunk at the time. First game goes alright, but by the third game I'm just pissed and tired and only joined because of peer pressure. Ended up throwing my keyboard off the desk, dragging the mic and wifi with it and Alt+F4ing.

It would do you some good to have a grasp on the things you talk about.

imagine putting so much effort into complaining about a game because you couldn't put enough effort in the game to get good at it.
There doesn't seem to be an equivalent for "This guy can outaim me at every turn, guess we fed him too much early game and he got too much xp for his aimbot OH WAIT A FUCKING SECOND."
Aim better.
There doesn't seem to be an equivalent for "This guy can outaim me at every turn, guess we fed him too much early game and he got too much xp for his aimbot OH WAIT A FUCKING SECOND."
Here's what you do: "oh man fuck that guy, i'm gunna take this scout and jam it right through the scope of his shitty fucking AWP" and then he dies and you don't die and you win. This literally works.
Surrendering a game means you lose all the remaining games and hurts you, or rather your rank a lot more than you think, if you care about your rank. you surrender at 0 - 5. That means you willingly take the remaining 11 rounds as losses. Even if you win just 1 round that means you only take 15 losses not the full 16. It's always better to fight on and try and win rounds even if you think the game is a forgone conclusion. And fuck i'll repost it again, ANYTHING can happen which means you actually pull a draw out of the bag or a win. In basic numbers terms (though it's much deeper math involved than than this) 13 - 16 = 3 losses scored 7 -16 = 9 losses scored 0 - 16 = 16 losses scored Lets say you derank at 32 round losses in overall game losses. That means you derank after 2 games at 0 - 16 3 / 4 games at 7 - 16 10 games at 13 - 16 And thats just 2 equally matched teams going at it, factor in AI bots, Rank difference and you get give all kinds of handicaps and bonuses to give you more games to save your rank. The point I'm trying to make is, if you are surrendering just because you think the game is over then you will derank a fuck lot faster than if you see out the games to their bitter end and claw some wins out of it. A loss is still a loss that is true, but some losses hit a lot harder on your ELO than others.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/YGdyW8v.jpg[/t] So this happened. It invoked quite a few "Wai-...well, ok." I'm pretty proud about that.
Complaint
Mate, you got 47 posts in this thread, out of those 47, 5 posts weren't complaining about the game. I got this great suggestion that might fix your problem; (I'm sure you want to solve this after posting about it 42 times over about 30 days) Uninstall the game, and fuck off. Go play something else, because you gave up several weeks ago. There's really no reason to keep doing this.
So, today I played using the yesterdays suggestions. Round 1: Bought just armor (as I am okay with glock and usp) Round 2: Buy smg, keep using smg until I die. Holy shit, I can finally get kills in first round, also I try to aim higher then running around now so today I ended up getting more headshots. Here is first round of last game (Ace, I honestly don't know what my team mates were shooting without killing)

First "fair" match I got in a while, after 4 losses against wallhackers and 2 against GE's smurfing at LEM I finally managed to get a fair game that I won after performing well. Now to get another 6 losses in a row so I will never reach GE :v:
me and some fellow nova scrubs queued with an LE and got matched against double AKs, we went 11-11 until i screwed up a clutch that prompted a 5 round winstreak for the other team :( also the lazy eagle wasn't even carrying
This is why you listen to advice instead of saying 'nope it's literally impossible', well done mate
Yes but the advice given was silver 3 level stuff like, "don't forget to buy armor when you buy a rifle!!!!" It doesn't help when the only real advice is "shoot him first".
So I heard doing the Op missions would get your drops somehow? I haven't gotten a single drop that didn't come from a random at the end of the match.
So I heard doing the Op missions would get your drops somehow? And only if you have the pass, but if you're doing missions then you're good with that.

I think you should just record one of your competitive rounds and post here, I am pretty sure there is much more to "he shoots me too fast" than just that. I posted few vids last night of my games, and got great feedback (http://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1469081&p=48138145&viewfull=1#post48138145) I am pretty sure people here are willing to give feedback when there is something to judge from.
I would fucking bet my best skin that you aren't doing half the things you were told to do.
If he's getting insta-headshotted every time (he's not, no matter what) by players at that level then he's playing like a moron, so I'm sure there's plenty of advice to be given. I think it was given, actually. Somebody broke down one of his demos in a true kindhearted attempt to help him (and help the thread) but that seems to have gone unappreciated.

But I'm talking about holding an angle and instantly getting prefired. Even if I hold a different angle and try and gain back the peekers advantage as soon as I peek I get instantly headshot. There's ZERO room for error at this rank.
GUYS FUCKING PLEASE ADD BLAZING TO YOUR IGNORE LIST THIS ONE PATHETIC MORON IS BAITING HARD AS HE CAN FOR ATTENTION AND YOU GIVE IT TO HIM stop please and ban me for backseat modding but really look at the state of this thread.

And thats not taking into account the fact that he might be a support player who uses flashes and smokes, refragging and baiting shots / holding angles rather than raw aim and shooting ability. I mean fuck myself and a fellow MGE qued with a silver ME and an unranked and it put us against Nova's and MG1's. We top fragged the shit out of the game at 35 - 16 and 27 - 12 each. We had the highest MVP's combined and were 20 points ahead of their top player in the score, and yet it counted for nothing because our silver friends just could not contribute enough to make our efforts count for anything.
