It doesn't help when the only real advice is "shoot him first".
if you are losing every aim duel then stop getting into aim duels, try to get trade kills and learn how to put your enemy at a disadvantage with smokes/flashes my aim is like that of an 80 year old arthritic person but i still manage to get positive kdr

And even with trading kills, you still have to peek them out of position which just earns them another kill.
This is how the game is for somebody that is only average and not innately good.
I'm SEM right now, as far as the game is concerned I am not even in the "average" bracket yet.
I'm SEM right now, as far as the game is concerned I am not even in the "average" bracket yet.
Stay there, silver was actually fun, everything else is a grind. At the moment we are 8 - 1 down because the enemy team is fantastic, they are ALWAYS fantastic. You cannot kill them at all. You must make ZERO mistakes and always kill as soon as you see to even stand a chance. And this is why we need surrender/no penalty for abandoning. Why punish a player for being bad?
GUYS FUCKING PLEASE ADD BLAZING TO YOUR IGNORE LIST THIS ONE PATHETIC MORON IS BAITING HARD AS HE CAN FOR ATTENTION AND YOU GIVE IT TO HIM stop please and ban me for backseat modding but really look at the state of this thread.
He's been complaining about this game for four and a half months. Just think about that for a second. Four and a half months of complaining about a game's player skill is not fucking normal.
Four and a half months of like, five hours a day of this game and not improving at all, and you still argue I can learn?
That obviously means you're doing something wrong. how about you find out what that is and stop bitching about it here? Dont post until you find out :downs:
All I ever wanted was FAIR matches, not to ever be put with people that can instantly kill you because it's patently unfair. I never asked to rank up but that's what happens when you luck out with excellent players on your team occasionally. Dont post until you find out :downs:
IF I knew what it was I'd have done it by now lol, it's just aim. People forget that CS is at the heart a twitch shooter and it's 90% aim.
Four and a half months of like, five hours a day of this game and not improving at all, and you still argue I can learn?
You're clearly doing something wrong and you're too mad to learn anything right now because you fucking hate this game. Stop playing. Uninstall. Optional step: come back in a month.
IF I knew what it was I'd have done it by now lol, it's just aim. People forget that CS is at the heart a twitch shooter and it's 90% aim.
GO isn't a twitch shooter.
that is incredibly wrong and you need to go do your research. I suggest you take atleast a week break.
Except it's not. Look at ANY guide, it will say "then you can kill the guy here etc etc" It's still aim duels and it's still AIM.
You guys remember like several months back when I lost like 20 games in a row and has a massive bitch-fest on this thread? I would have ignored me then because I was pretty blindly pissed to all advice, so I'mma just take my own advice and ignore fly.
Just because he's a LE it does not mean he's able to carry nova's against MGE's. And thats not taking into account the fact that he might be a support player who uses flashes and smokes, refragging and baiting shots / holding angles rather than raw aim and shooting ability. I mean fuck myself and a fellow MGE qued with a silver ME and an unranked and it put us against Nova's and MG1's. We top fragged the shit out of the game at 35 - 16 and 27 - 12 each. We had the highest MVP's combined and were 20 points ahead of their top player in the score, and yet it counted for nothing because our silver friends just could not contribute enough to make our efforts count for anything.
We actually did manage to play a good game against them, though. I was just putting the eagle down to inflate my fragile nova ego some.
Look at ANY guide, it will say "then you can kill the guy here etc etc" It's still aim duels and it's still AIM.
The fact that you're supposed to kill dudes doesn't directly translate to taking aim duels. If you're being overtaken while holding a spot just throw flashes and nades and get to a better position and try for a pick. If you're taking a site and you're the only one with the balls to go in first, but die without getting any frags make sure to call out enemy positions so that your teammates can trade.
Well as expected we lost the game. The really harmful thing is this optimistic mindset everyone seems to have "Oh no we will come back", when really, if the enemy team has gotten you to 1 - 6, just accept that they're better than you and leave. Why not just add a surrender button and end the match, it's obvious from round 5 onwards who will win 90% of the time.
I recently made 2 comebacks in which one of them the game was 4-13 and it ended 13-16 (ofc we won), and the other from 7-14 to 15-15. I'm sorry if this will offend you but you really have a loser mindset. Please, stop thinking you'll never win because of the current game score, you don't know how frustrating it is to have team mates like you.

The score is indicative of the teams skill, right? I am very confused how people seem to think that you can comeback at all, if they are good enough to 4 - 13 you, that means their team is far more skilled than yours. People don't just magically become worse at the game halfway through. Comebacks are very, very rare, which is why there should be a concede option. Enemy team beats you 5 - 0, chances are you won't win this game, concede it, take the ELO hit, and play a game that will hopefully be fairer. The game is only fun while winning, so why bother playing matches you will lose? (User was banned for this post ("Threadshitting" - Craptasket))

The thread is already flooded with people trying to help him, but it seems he doesn't want to get better and hardly take any advice, so just accept he's going to be a looser forever, at least we tried for a while, now it's up to him. My last post about him, I promise, for the good of this thread.
Playing with a controller is so much fun...and strangely viable.

It forces you to think about your crosshair placement and makes flick aiming impossible forcing only good CS habits to surface. [editline]8th July 2015[/editline] I just realized that I've been playing without anything bound to my mousewheel for the better part of a year, bind mwheelup flashbang good idea y/n?
Four and a half months of like, five hours a day of this game and not improving at all, and you still argue I can learn?
Apparently not, so, maybe this game isn't for you?
you have a really bad bias towards this game and it's seriously a way bigger problem for your play than your aim is
My bias is from experience. If you get beaten and outaimed EVERY GAME YOU PLAY then you would feel the same way.
I just realized that I've been playing without anything bound to my mousewheel for the better part of a year, bind mwheelup flashbang good idea y/n?
At least have a key bound to equipping flashbangs.
nah you're just salty cause you lose all the time
That's exactly what I said, I will never beat people at MGE/DMG level they are just too good.
That's exactly what I said, I will never beat people at MGE/DMG level they are just too good.
but you can become as good with a simple set of rules 1. learn to aim at the head 2. get good reflexes 3. stop bad habits 4. stop being a butthurt kid if you lose bada bing bada boom and I made it to MGE with these rules in mind
