Changing over from like 2400 dpi 1.8 ingame to 800 dpi 2 ingame, and so far feels good.

Its nice able to track people's heads more accurately instead of just like attempting to nudge the mouse the tiniest bit.

I wish there was an achievement for winning using only a knife

because I manage to do that so often it's fucking ridiculous. The game goes on enough for everyone to figure out that I'm the knife-only guy giving off a lot of "woah" at the end, and since they all have to get two kills for their weapons while knives rank you up immediately, it's more than feasible if the map has a lot of corners.

The old wooden texture was a place holder so now I finally got one that fits well and isn't taken from google images (lol)

Something I'm not sure about doing weapon finish for CSGO:

In the Valve FAQs and other guides I'm sure they said somewhere that you shouldn't take the original texture of the weapon you are doing a finish because the skinning system they built is supposed to add all the AO and other fine details automatically, so you shouldn't worry about that (means you shouldn't reuse original texture). I'm ATM reusing the original texture from M4A1-S because I'm pretty sure that system will only do that to paint types that aren't 'Custom Paint Job' and 'Patina' (which is the one I'm using). I looked inside CSGO vpk files and a few 'Custom Paint Job' appear to have re-used original textures somehow. Is it something I should worry about when adding it to Workshop list ?[/QUOTE]

I'm sorry, but I couldn't find a way to control the Specular maps in Patina paint type (actually, I don't know if any other paint type support spec map control). I really wish there was a way. It seems you can't do much about it (I tried googling a few times, no success, sadly).

Then for some reason, without having a rank I was placed against nova 3-4.

New accounts are restricted to 2 wins per day. I hate the rank 3 + 2 wins a day thing even if it deters smurfing and cheating, I'm pretty sure if it was this hard to play comp when I was new I would've quit.
