After cracking those cases earlier today I don't think I'm ever going to open cases again. I spent $60 on that and I could have just bought two of the three Asiimov series weapons I really wanted. $60 is about halfway to either Hyper Beast weapon, [I]Factory New[/I], and I'd be willing to bet I wouldn't get either if I spent $120 unlocking chests, let alone Factory New ones. And I wouldn't feel bad about buying them right off the market either, because I think they're fucking cool.

GO cases just seem like a massive fucking scam really. I almost got a Monkey Business earlier which I thought would have been really cool until I realized a) it wasn't StatTrak so it would only be worth like $11 at most and b) it could have been some shit quality and made it worthless and ugly. I [I]could[/I] have gotten either Hyper Beast weapon earlier but if they weren't at least Minimal Wear, I probably would have just sold the damn things off because I don't want some crap ass, junky looking POS. In Dota 2 there is no quality outside of the inherent rareness label of the item, which in the grand scheme of things is meaningless. I think it is cool that is it easy to get the item or set you want from a chest now because you're guaranteed every drop until you get them all, but then at the same time that also lowers the value of fucking everything that isn't an extra rare item drop from a chest (one that isn't guaranteed). In the end, Dota 2 has little to no economy outside of a few dozen super rare items. GO just seems unfair though.

This is really bothering me. Is cobble CT or T sided?

People keep saying it's CT sided because CT's can rotate really fast but from what I've seen it's more of a T map.

We got overrun as CT so much and when we were on T, 9/10 times I could just march through A long, killing 2-3 guys and sit on the site for 10 seconds before the CT's had rotated back.

I mean say you have a falchion case, you give it to friend and he unlocks it, gets a knife.
Think if you unlocked it - you would get knife instead of him?
P.S - it didn't happen to me, if it did I would be pretty pissed right now :v:

Should be the same system as TF2. What you get is decided by the servers at the very moment you open.

These missions can't even really be defended. 90% of the defenses for other shit missions are "they're encouraging you to try new things" or something but if that was the case the Revolution 1 mil mission's just encouraging you to spend [I]all[/I] of your money as soon as each round starts.

I then proceed to crank my voice's pitch up when they can hear me to annoy them because I doubt they can actually go higher than me tbh unless they do that weird high pitched screaming thing and then they're likely just to get kicked by their team.

I have a friend who is a nice guy but annoying as fuck. I could make a list of shit that he does:

-Invites his entire friends list while playing games
-Doesn't stop inviting people. I once uninstalled CSGO to study for exams and suddenly get invites and mildly insulting messages up the wazoo.
-Refuses to add anything bar Dust2 to the map queue and doesn't learn the other maps
-Complains when on said maps because he doesn't know them
-Got boosted to MGE at one point
-Deranked all the way back to GN2 before being boosted again
-Is currently MG1 and claims that he hasn't been boosted in a while, despite me seeing his friend using said account the previous day
-He still plays like a silver(I've beaten him in several aim duels and usually outfrag him)
-Usuaully invites me and a good mutual friend to games, despite both of us barely being out of silver.
-Combine this with his inviting habits and we have 2 people he barely knows pissed off at him for inviting them on such a shit team while he expects them to carry us and gets angry at them for being "tryhards"
-Refuses to get a smurf

Excuse me? With TF2 unboxing it's impossible to get price of the key back unless you unbox an unusual or it's a special event crate. I'd say TF2 crates are the worst.

Guys I'm sorry if this been asked before, but what's the best way to record your matches? Recording a console demo, then capturing that, or downloading the match demo? And if the later, how do you make it so it's your perspective (hud and everything) only?

if you want it to be quick and cheap use OBS, if you want a smooth and motion blurred clip to be used in a fragvideo or something similar use srcdemo2

Shadowplay is good if you want to use the shadow feature. It's less taxing when recording, too, but the video quality is usually really meh
