I got a huntsman fade after about 2 months of trading from an aug torque :V but it has some really high fade value. Everyone tells me to sell it but i'm too attached to it now.

I ping syd.valve.net and get a reasonable ping.. yet in the game at the start of the round my ping spikes to 300-500, then after I've died as a result of this it drops to a pleasant 20-30; rinse and repeat.

Really starting to fucking shit me right off.

Yeah, it's happened to me a couple of times recently. My ping has spiked to 700-1000 with 50-75% packet loss mid-round and I die 10 seconds later on another part of the map

The recoil takes a loooong time to get used to compared to most other guns IMO. I just used the Galil and SG in the meantime, or simply tapped/bursted with the AK.

I think what angers me the most is that for example;

Last guy on enemy team alive, I tagged him for 77, another guy said he tagged for 20, we know this, same name, yadda yadda, so he is on 3 hp.

Last guy on our team, has an awp and a five-seven, we tell him like 99 times "He has 3 hp, just pistol him"

He then proceeds to never switch to his pistol, stays on his awp watching corners, dies after missing like 1-2 shots with it.

THAT. That is rage inducing at lower levels.

Basically people that don't listen to calls.

If you are a terrorist, trading for kills is the second best scenario you want when taking a guarded site, the best one being no trading at all and just entry fragging your way in.
A kill trade is advantageous if you're a team of terrorists pushing a 2-man or 3-man hold on a site somewhere. Generally it's acceptable to go for trade kill strategies if you outnumber the enemy on a location you are about to push.

if you're trading a good fragger for another team's bottom fragger then probably not a good trade. if you can take out someone who has been playing good and is streaking it's a lot better because then you know you've taken out the kingpin.

and as gvazdas said, if you have an advantage then the trade should work out fine as long as you don't walk in a line into their guns

Entirely dependent on the map and situation. So it's both a yes and no answer.

regardless it's always better than dying without a trade, unless you get significant Intel like the entire team is rushing long leaving B site completely open.
