Any semi decent player competitively will have no issues getting to global. It entirely depends on what you want to achieve.

A semi-decent player to a lot of people isn't a Global, but rather an AK, DMG or LE. IMO most of the semi-decent to decent to good players are in LE and up from what I see, most of my old csgo mates are going up to there (and subsequently leaving me behind in Nova / MG, lol) Achieving Global may seem easy to you and others who are already pretty high in rank, but to those of us who aren't and are pretty average it's pretty much nothing more than a pipe dream.

In my opinion the only thing that holds a lot of mid tier players out of the top ranks is purely their mental approach to the game. Doesn't matter how good you are, if you have a tendency to shift blame to anything but your own shortcomings you'll never adjust your playstyle into something that favors what you are actually good at. No player is the entire package, and if they think they are they are going to get themselves killed time and time again and thus never rise to the top of the MM system(which is honestly very doable, even if staying in global can be hard)

I'm getting really pissed with this game man. Whenever I get put on a Russian server I'm with a 4-man and they throw for the deranks. Guess what? Everytime I go to AWP down mid they jump in the way of my bullets causing me to get banned. Fuck you Russia.

my aim is really fucking good at the moment but i need help with strats. i mostly play dust 2, cache and inferno but i'd like some help with general strategies like proper grenade usage. i'm slowly figuring out how to hold a site as ct and how to take a site as t and i understand the importance of entry fragging even if you get killed after getting the frag. i don't have a problem winning games but if i could command my team better we would steam roll.

Fraps creates massive files and kills framerate. Mirillis' Action is expensive but it's decent. DXTory is just crap, I don't know why people insist it's any good. Bandicam has gotten a bit better but still not very good, huge performance hit. Your best bet is to use OBS. 20-30k bitrate will get you great results. I personally used 20k on the video I posted a couple pages back.

I want software that allows to save last 5-10 mins of what happened but that seems to be SP only.

To record gameplay footage (and record the last 3 minutes in case I get a sick play) I use AMD Gaming Evolved program to record for little performance hit. Pretty sure you'll need an AMD card for that. Problem is you tell it to record at 60fps, it won't actually record at that framerate. More like 48fps or 56fps

Considering you're using shadowplay you're probably using it for the 5 minute record thing which is mostly for recording moments to show to people. If you want to record something proper then use fraps.
