I usually go for the force buy, either 5-7 + armor, or tek-9.
1-2 headshots are a guaranteed weapon, sometimes even an AK or A4.

Besides, most people I play with eco for the second and third round if they lose pistol, which means I could still get an SMG and armor in round 3.

2nd round force is useful because even the winning side can't afford a full buy which means skimping on nades/weapons/kits so you got a higher chance of winning then forcing against a full buy.

Also, if you lose the force your loss bonus is still stacking, which means more money for the first buyround.

You should save as much as possible, even considering buying nothing at all, if you get a bombplant during T-side pistol. That way, you'll get a real buy 3rd round. Otherwise, force it with pistol+kev if you feel up for it.

Always force second ct round. Only force second t round if no plant. If you don't get plant and lose pistol its a forced double save either way.

Unless you're aiming for an expensive weapon first or second rifle round, forcing is ok to do, this is why you sometimes see a team do a 4 man force with the 5th saving.

Talking about forces, one of my favourite ones to do later in game is armour nova then sit in a close range chokepoint, then either jump the other team or wait for them to pass you because they might not check your corner, which is always fun when you come up behind them and pray to rngesus that your pellets hit.

Don't always force second CT round. If you spend all your money second round then even hard ecoing third round won't give you a full buy. And on lots of maps you really want the utilities as CT (plus the option to pick up an AWP). Very often it's a tough call that needs to be considered carefully. And you should only ever force as CT if you have a plan to win the round.

Unless you're a player that doesn't give a shit about utilities and just runs around shooting at things then force to your heart's content.

Hard ecoing third round after a force even if you don't get any frags (which you probably should) will let you buy at least a famas/vesthelm/full nades or m4/vest/flash+smoke. You can avoid getting a helmet and a flash with the famas to get a defuser instead. This is if you dont kill anything, if you do then you'll be even better off cash wise.

force??? no, semi-eco. UMP + full kevlar is 2200 easy. if you can get a couple kills first round you should be able to afford it even if you lose, typically with a grand to spare for round three.

if you're a real bitch n shit you could just go five-seven + full kevlar, but the advantage is with the automatic guns unless you can juan tapp all day
