Counter-Strike: Global Offensive v6 "Almost Gold Nova!" - Games

After getting stomped more and more with my friends on the same three maps (Dust2, Mirage, Inferno, and rarely Cache), it feels good to soloqueue for some random shit I never play. Just won three games in a row on Nuke, Overpass and Cobble and am queuing for Agency, Aztec, Italy and Office right now.

I had a long losing streak one after another and at one point I was accused of throwing by one guy, which actually kind of hurt. I deranked back to MG1 after just a few days (which I thought was amusing since I was MG1 for the equal amount of time), is NA MG and above just plain smurfs/pro tryhards and togglers?

I remember being but a lowly unranked playing with Silvers and lurking in this thread, seeing people post their upranks to LE and higher. While looking at those screenshots, I kept thinking to myself how good they were and how I'd never be this good. But I guess anything can happen, so Global in 5 months? Also, I feel as though my achievement is slightly diminished by the VAC waves and that I'm a shitty MG at most. Should I be feeling this way?

I mean at MG players know the buy meta, they know the calls, they know to smoke areas off, they know to hold angles and where to hold from, they know the walk, they know not to spam a magazine and run so on and so forth. But just because they know what not to do it does not mean they don't relapse to full silver.

It's when they reweighted the ranks that fucked everything up.
