Does anybody have any basic tips for someone trying to play get into this game? I've been an on and off CS player for almost 10 years, so I understand the gameplay. I just want some basic "moves" I could practice to make sure I stand a decent chance out there.

OK aim, low sensitivity and understanding how to hold angles and peek should get you far.

What do you mean by "hold angles"? Also, I've found playing on deathmatch and other gamemode with instant respawn is a nice way to get familiarized with the feel of the game, rather than dying 10 seconds into a match and waiting for the next round.

Is it normal in MM that you get some people who are trolling? I got today 2 people they were in ct base rotating around and they did nothing. They just rotate around or the one team killed me twice and called me cheater and he will me report me and so on.

Is it just me that finds warowl's videos to be generally good and informative but hates his persona

The weapon skins are what's really catching my eye right now. The "drop" count resets every week, right? On average, how many drops do you typically see each week?

Just realized my genius plan has flaws. Plan: Play FaceIt for a month or two. Come back to MM, destroy everyone at LE rank, and reach global in few days. Possible flaw: I am shit with AK 47 on 64tick (although that could be just placebo effect).

I thought a teammate was trolling me by using call outs like "Military base" and "Airfield" until I realized 10 minutes in to the game that I had left raidcall on and someone was playing Dayz

On average, how many drops do you typically see each week?[/QUOTE] Right now it's only case drops and you only get 4 iirc, unless you buy the operation pass in which case you also get 1 weapon skin per week if you rank up, but this is through your XP rank not Skill rank and the skins are mostly light blue / grey and not worth much, but some of them are nice looking. Unless you get a shadow case you're talking pennies from selling cases, however if you get a bravo case or one of the other 'rare' cases from times gone by in which case you can get like £3 / £5.

[editline]27th September 2015[/editline] Also, don't sell the cheaper cases you get as drops, keep em. Look at how much the winter offensive case has gone up.
