What happens when you think someone is hacking in overwatch and say they are? Do they get insta banned or does someone look at the evidence and decide? And if they do get banned, is it perma?
It's more like a tribunal. Several overwatchers see the footage and if the majority say he is, they get banned. You also have an overwatch score that makes your decision more influential if you have done multiple cases correct.

My understanding is,
No one get's convicted by OW on just 1 case, it has to be an overwhelming yes vote by the majority of reviewers (higher ranked players votes carry more weight) across an unspecified number of cases, it may be 2 games no one knows.
If some one gets convicted for cheating it's instant and permanent and cannot be contested.

This is what I use in Vegas right now:

I can't really use anything too high quality because my upload speed isn't that fast. For youtube, it's good enough.
Ignore the text in Format, it's not accurate.

I will try variable bit rate next time.

I legit just had the worst game of CSGO comp in a long while.
1 Chick, Two Brazilians (?), and a troll. 14 rounds in, The Enemy team catches up to us 7-7, One Brazilian calls her a fucker and she gets pissed. Both of the Brazilians give up completely.
After a match or two, She fails to defuse since she didnt have a kit and the troll just pisses her off more.
She start throwing, and I'm trying to get the team to chill and just play since we are not down by much.
I ask why she is throwing and she says "Because you don't deserve the win." At that point, I'm done with the team, but still somewhat trying. Enemy team was slightly dickish, but my team was worse.
I just really want to get out of GNM. Please Gaben.

Sounds like the start of a bad joke.
Today I realized that my experience in EU East and North servers is amazing, but once I join an EU West server I encounter the greatest jerk offs on that side of europe.
Welp, I got another week cooldown because something blocking VAC is really the reason for it. thx volvo

With how that match went, it was.
How do you guys bounce back from long strings of losses? I'm on about a 5 loss streak now and I feel so damn guilty for letting my teammates down every game.

Take a short break, unfortunately mine ended up over a month long and then shortly after I took another long break. But that's life. What I noticed was that after a month off I played better: my head was clearer and I was more relaxed. It just became a case of rational thinking and muscle memory with no salt to cloud my judgement.
It's a sad feeling when you're watching a game and are internally happy every time the team you bet against gets a round because you're hoping they can pull it back from an 11-4 scoreline so the game won't seem so dull.
I love when I win 16-0, but it's just boring to watch.
So I'm completely sure someone on the other team in one of my very recent matches is cheating, but when I watch the demo to make sure I'm stuck spectating only 1 person and I can't switch to the view of another person. Help?

Been trading up like a madman and finally got the 2 things I wanted. Anyone have a hot rod .00x? I can't stand my .02 and no one on csgolounge will bother to try and work out a deal lol

What fixes this for me is pressing shift+f2, and skipping one round ahead, then selecting them again
How does trading up work, exactly? Is it anything more than responding to trades on csgolounge with a slightly lower-priced item?

Buy something people want, for example I started with a glock fade off OPskins that I bought for $150, then some guy offered me $350 worth of skins for it. Then you just go from there. Basically get someone to grossly overpay you so you can moderately overpay someone else.

This seems like luck that will never happen for me

Most of the matches that i'm up against cheaters in (doesn't happen too often actually) end up having corrupted demos when i download them. Just coincidence?
Most of the matches that i'm up against cheaters in (doesn't happen too often actually) end up having corrupted demos when i download them. Just coincidence?
Nope, thats an overwatch bypass. If you crash the server at the right time the demo doesn't get saved or is fucked up.
So after 100+ hours of playing CSGO on and off, I've never been able to shake the feeling that CSGO feels 'off' for me. Something isn't clicking.
I was an avid player of 1.6 and CSS and got quite good, but I just can't replicate my ability, comfort or familiarity in GO.
I can't pinpoint what the problem is though. I feel like I struggle to see players at a distance. In CSS, I was very good at using sound cues to pinpoint enemies, but I can't seem to utilise this in GO. Previously, I was able to react very quickly and behave somewhat predictably in a split second, but I just can't reach the same level in GO.
Does anyone feel the same? It just feels wrong, and I'm trying hard to keep practicing but it's getting to the point where I'm struggling to enjoy the game. I feel like I need to tweak some settings, or something, but I can't pinpoint what it is I need to fix. Any thoughts?
If you can't see shit play on all low with high shadows.

Oh and if you played 1.6/css on 4:3 give that a try.

Sound space design in CS:GO is beyond shit, so don't rely on it too much.
Either way, if you WERE good in those two games, after about ~600 or so hours you should find your comfort zone again, 100 hours isn't really all that much.
Well turns out even EU West servers are cancer. We were playing a match with a bot, and were losing 2-5, and our team decide that they want to surrender 7 fucking rounds in to the game, I say no, so they kick me. The salt is too real.
A kid I have in friends just put this up

I'm strongly suspecting it's the texture of the cloth underneath it stretched over and tinted blue.

GE is literally the new DMG, been trying to rank up for weeks and no result, I'm stuck here, how many more wins do I need to rank up
you're gonna have a hard time ranking up from global elite

More like eagles are new the DMG. I have this LEM friend who has no game sense at all and I wonder how he got there like he doesn't even know what planting default on Inferno is. On the bright side just got my alt to global now time to avoid mm again.
