lmao what aero gives 16ms input lag guaranteed, and vsync is going to only make that worse if you cant feel it then you must be playing literally 0 attention to the game at all
Win8 8.1 and 10 don't have areo so it has no impact, why not give it a try
Bought this in a heartbeat
I bought this one because last night when they all went on sale :v: The MVP Anthem and Bomb Plant music is really nice
Sup guys, wanted your opinion on this. (skip to 5:25) I dunno guys, I've played a lot of CS past decade, but that IMO looks blatant aim assist/aimhack, especially when exiting short out on A plant he swaps the targets too fast and too accurately. I have no idea why this guy didn't think he was NOT hacking.
It's not enough to convict someone that's the point. It is incredibly fishy no one can deny that, but it is also the only instance in the segment where something fishy happens and as such you cannot rule out dumb luck, and lets be honest we've all done something like that before, i know i have.
That flick and some more odd stuff would be enough for me to convict him, mostly because of the "oh shit that's not supposed to happen" wiggle after the flick. [editline]2nd October 2015[/editline] If it was on purpose he'd have shot the guy
It could also be interpreted as the body reacting to something before the brain has processed the information, and the reaction could also be that of 'holy shit did i just do that?' You cannot , beyond all reasonable doubt, say it's not just dumb luck. To put it another way, instead of asking 'what if he's hacking', ask yourself 'what if he's innocent', remember the result of a conviction is absolute with no undo button, imagine the person is innocent and it's actually you, i'd be pretty fucking devestated if my account was banned based on a fluke moment.
Win8 8.1 and 10 don't have areo so it has no impact, why not give it a try
????????????????????????///// 8.1 has horrifying input lag on windowed and you cant actually remove it
????????????????????????///// 8.1 has horrifying input lag on windowed and you cant actually remove it
ok what do you say about this [VID]https://my.mixtape.moe/hewtce.webm[/VID] I actually recorded this shit with my camera, I made the effort to find my camera and recharge it just to do this [editline]2nd October 2015[/editline] only thing good about fullscreen is that you can up the brightness without fucking around with the nvidia stuff or whatever
right i didnt explain properly, using borderless fullscreen gives you the same input lag as vsync, therefore because you're vsyncing the fullscreen one it will look the same do it again with vysnc off
thats the thing, vsync was disabled you know what just because I'm in the mood I'll record that as well
btw you should totally watch this high quality stream http://www.twitch.tv/0gris
I deranked from global making this video. I think its worth it
Win8 8.1 and 10 don't have areo so it has no impact, why not give it a try
Uhh, Windows 8 and 10 both use DWM and you can't disable it unlike you can on W7. DWM always presents a bit of input delay just due to the nature of how it draws. Running fullscreen completely avoids this because its not forced to draw via DWM. Vsync also naturally, adds some input delay because of how vsync works (delaying rendering to keep sync with refresh), what you see when vsync is on is actually normally 20~80 frames behind what you'd see without it enabled, if you don't get screen tearing you don't need vsync on.

My inputs are better in Borderless [editline]2nd October 2015[/editline]
maybe it's just because my monitor is like 4 years old and not really made for gaming, but I think the 5ms reaction time they advertised for it seem to be correct.
jesus, mine is 6 years old and not made for gaming. is the 5ms reaction time sarcasm? mine is 5-12ms (not sure) 60 Hz and no screen tearing with vsync or is the recording just fucked, that looks like 60ms
My inputs are better in Borderless [editline]2nd October 2015[/editline] "5ms" input lag is actually not that at all. Even 144hz monitors have 20ms+ input lag. Vsync compounds that even more, same with borderless etc. 60HZ screens which are bad can have up to 80ms inherent input lag. jesus, mine is 6 years old and not made for gaming. is the 5ms reaction time sarcasm? mine is 5-12ms (not sure) 60 Hz and no screen tearing with vsync or is the recording just fucked, that looks like 60ms
yeah the first one was in slowmo so i thought maybe the second would be
I counted 18 frames delay on average. If the recording was really 240fps, thats 75ms which is terrible. Normally you should be getting like 30-40 on a 60hz monitor.
ty for obliterate

If you're short on money you should dig up or cheaply buy an old CRT.

Anyone else started having weird lag/rubberbanding after the last few patches? It's driving me crazy. Tried reinstalling but it didn't help.
Anyone else started having weird lag/rubberbanding after the last few patches? It's driving me crazy. Tried reinstalling but it didn't help.
Servers have pretty much gone to shit since the last updates.

You are not special, neither is your screen, nor is your input lag any different and no, you don't somehow break coding and get a "better" result. Your brain does get used to it and filters us the useless information, yes, but that doesn't make it good or okay, it's the same argument as the Kiwi "I can play on 250 ping" argument. Ask people who play on 144hz now how good it feels to accidentally switch to the "completely okay" 60hz. Input lag differences are MASSIVE between 144hz and 60hz. No matter how many shots you take with a 240 FPS camera or how hard you try to convince yourself otherwise. Now is what you're doing actually a BAD thing though? Borderless window, I'd say has it's uses when not playing competitive, turn it on when you play casual and you have 0 alt-tab issues, perfectly fine and let's be honest, it's fucking casual, similar with surf etc. As for V-Sync, I'd recommend just focusing on getting as much FPS as possible, that or a G-Sync monitor if you really want to use it, but still, I'd recommend against it.
Switching from 144 to 60hz is fucking disgusting. Just doing it while dragging a window around on the desktop makes me want to throw up.
