One day, I'll become famous and rich. Mostly rich, so I'll be able to afford any virtual item CSGO community could ever imagine. This day, I'll buy 4 iBUYPOWER stickers and apply them to a vanilla Sawed Off.
As if I thought this mm system couldn't get more retarded, I get on an account I haven't used in a little while (couple weeks, lost its rank) and go to play with someone 1 or 2 ranks above me. Valve doesn't let me saying the skill groups are too far apart, retarded shit technicalities.
just ranked up again woo
In just 69 wins? What the fuck? Well played mate.
In just 69 wins? What the fuck? Well played mate.
yea i used to play 1.6 quite a lot, and i did some DM/Casual before starting MM to get used to the game edit: wait im dumb, it took 12 matches to rank up, 8 were wins.. forgot it only shows wins under rank

Then again I'd say CSGO is a much harder (and better) game.
A new case should be around the corner right?
A new case should be around the corner right?
Falchion case prices have plummeted, that only tends to happen when a new case is a few days away so it seems likely. [editline]10th August 2015[/editline]
So after 100+ hours of playing CSGO on and off, I've never been able to shake the feeling that CSGO feels 'off' for me. Something isn't clicking. I was an avid player of 1.6 and CSS and got quite good, but I just can't replicate my ability, comfort or familiarity in GO. I can't pinpoint what the problem is though. I feel like I struggle to see players at a distance. In CSS, I was very good at using sound cues to pinpoint enemies, but I can't seem to utilise this in GO. Previously, I was able to react very quickly and behave somewhat predictably in a split second, but I just can't reach the same level in GO. Does anyone feel the same? It just feels wrong, and I'm trying hard to keep practicing but it's getting to the point where I'm struggling to enjoy the game. I feel like I need to tweak some settings, or something, but I can't pinpoint what it is I need to fix. Any thoughts?
I got 560 hours hovering around DMG and i still don't feel at home with GO, never did with source either to be fair. I mean it's all the same kinda principles as 1.6 but it just never feels right and i just can't explain it. But then again well over half of my hours are spent pissing about on Surf and Zombie Escape servers and i only play maybe 2 / 4 games of comp a week so who knows, if i actually spent more time practicing and putting more time into the game then i think i'd be around supreme where most of my old mates from source are. But I'll never really know cause i don't care enough these days. I still find it fun but not a patch on 1.6, i dunno maybe it's just what i grew up with and i can't accept the change.
I feel like in css, 1.6 and most goldsrc games I'm easily able to put my crosshair on a single pixel and stay glued on it while moving around, there's something about movement in csgo I just can't get comfortable with.
Am I the only person that thinks CSGO is the best and most comfortable CS game so far? It has serious issues but I love it and find it the most responsive FPS I've ever played, overtaking Halo: Reach as my favourite FPS of all time.

You like CS more, someone will say CS sucks balls and that for ex. CoD is better
So I accidentally bought 10 falchion keys not knowing that only regular case keys can be bet on csgolounge. Can anyone trade falchion for CS:GO case keys, or direct me where I can trade keys for keys?
Why can't Valve realize that CS:GO's playerbase is huge and growing :C
The only good reason imo that competitive cs isn't growing as quick as dota is because of lack of competition.

I have a feeling it would be more problematic than people think, bringing more issues than solutions.

It could cause problems... It could also fix a hell of a lot of problems as well though. It WILL be updated to source 2, even the answer is not even vague if they will, the question is how long it will take and how many issues it will have. Remember, CS:S was update to orange box and that was just a small upgrade, albeit done by HPE instead of Valve.

Then again, CSGO is one of their biggest projects and sources of income so I guess they wouldnt dare to mess it up. Still worries me a bit, as the way things work in Source 2 seems to be quite different regarding things like file structure and the actual way things like modeling and mapping works. Guess we'll see how it turns out.
aight ;-;
Makes me wonder if it works with Famas aswell
Makes me wonder if it works with Famas aswell
Just tried it, it doesn't work with the famas, looks to be another bit of unintentional code clashing that's causing it with the glock.
Just tried it, it doesn't work with the famas, looks to be another bit of unintentional code clashing that's causing it with the glock.
It's not code clashing, it's an intentional(?) thing in the glock's burst-fire stats that barely adds inaccuracy when you jump. The reason it doesn't work for the famas is that the jumping inaccuracy is identical for the full-auto and burst modes. Fuck knows why strafing off of a ladder works though. I don't think Altimor will even be able to figure that one out
yeah gold nova three baby
Does anyone know the breakdown of percentages of people at each rank? I just did my placements and got into Nova 2 but I have no idea what that really means. In starcraft 2 if you were Platnium it was the 4th highest rank or something but was in the top 7-8% of the playerbase. Does CS:GO do something similar?
I was going to make a post about ranking up to Master Guardian but I deranked immediately after I lost the next match.

Edit : Oh, wait, you wanna know the percentages. Sorry, it's currently not possible to know that accurately.
Kicked from so many throwing teams i have a 24 hr TY volvo kick cooldowns r gud
I got a 7 day ban for kicking too many teammates. :v: Should only happen if you are in a party with friends. I've gotten so many trolls on my team.
