Not to mention jumping around any sharp corner.

They fucked up CZ and currently shit up the Rainbow 6 Siege so i too would be very dubious about how they'd be implemented but it's not like they could never be fitted in, they'd just have to do it right. Hypothetically speaking If they was to be reintroduced they'd have to be pistols only so no primary, and I'd even go so far as to say that it comes with it's own pistol that you cannot swap out for anything else, i mean lets face it if you could buy any pistol everyone would buy a Deag so remove it as an option, they'd get a slow firing P250'esqe pistol with limited ammo and accuracy of a glock, low ammo reserves too, movement speed would be that of a negev user when the shield is in use when away it's normal speed, to move you'd need to stand and when standing you rknees would be exposed to shoot at, eye glass can be shot through by an AK/ m4 and the AWP can shoot through the shield itself with a 50% damage reduction so you get to to live 2 shots, the user also extends their arm through a cut out in the shield to shoot which gives another fleshy part to shoot at instead. IF you want better accuracy you can opt to put the shield away and use the pistol 2 handed. You could possibly make the shield protect the back of the player but imo that'll be easy to abuse the fuck out of, specifically when defusing. Hypothetically that sounds alright to me, but problem is what about when you get 5 players buying it, so the cost would need to off set that and even then it would still cause problems. I could still see myself getting pissed off with a shield user but at least in theory that would have draw backs and weaknesses.

I really don't want something weird to change the gameplay of csgo, like in the csgo reddit people talk about interactive maps and elevators and shit.

I'm not sure if you guys know about this neat little feature or not. But when you press 'R' the nearest enemy player is notified of your position. Pretty cool of them to add that in.

tfw come back to cs after not playing for months and go positive on games tonight i win one, then lose one to hackers, then tie a 4v5, then lose another to unrankeds that drop 40 bombs against eagles, and derank thanks valve

I think if the riot shield were to be re-introduced it should have its own "health" so to speak; the first burst from a pistol-calibre weapon would be stopped, but successive hits would penetrate with increasing damage; rifles would penetrate from the get-go with the first few round having diminished damage and sniper rifles would punch straight through, maybe an awp shot leaving like 10hp with luck. It would also have to have to be relatively expensive, and replaced in the same manner as armour, and HE grenades should completely shag it. Big-time movement (and accuracy) penalties, like harsher than a negev would be the only way I could see its simultaneous use with anything other than pistols working, but I'd prefer if it precluded the use of a primary weapon - [I]maybe[/I] allow SMGs since most of them could be fired one-handed with relative ease. But overall I'd rather they stay the fuck out of CSGO.

Got the first kill on a game of cache last night on round 4, and then one guy on B site pushed up and 4k'd my teammates, managed to clutch it with an AK I found and get the ace :v: We still lost the game like, 16-7 though because two guys on my team were running around with M4s and spraying while running. But surprisingly, it seems like I can play better on Eagle than on MG1.
