How much of a difference is DMG from LE and LE2? And party vs non party?
Every damn time I play with my friends, we get unwinable games that are pants on head retarded, with enemies who look like GE smurfs who seem to guess and zip to your head at any distance wherever you go.
If I'm alone though, I usually get an easy game.
What gives?

Problem is LEM is pretty full of Global and Supreme smurfing, it's the optimum rank for avoiding hackers while still getting decent-ish opponents to fight. I have a couple of friends who never use their main's because apparently they meet a hacker every 2 games or so so always smurf at LEM and actually share the accounts with 'lesser' players to make sure it deranks back down if it goes higher.
In fact one of my GE friends actually watches our games when he gets the chance because he lives and breaths GO and according to him we've had a GE player in every single game we played this week so far, one of them was an entire premade full of GE's who he actually knows.
For the most part they don't actually take the piss but still, it's not my idea of a fun evening.
I haven't encountered a cheater in GE in a looooong time, it seems like people like to use the "cheating fucking cunt" card way to often.

As someone who was LE for 6+ months (played not so frequently, then about a month of coming back and playing multiple games per night) and just deranked back to DMG roughly two nights ago and haven't played since, smurfing is so, so bad at DMG/LE. I'd go so far as to say 40-50% of players are SMFC smurfs. The game I deranked from had 6 players in it with less than 50 hours in the game, two of whom admitted to being smurfs. In my opinion, smurfing is almost as bad as cheating, it's abusing the rank system to make it easier for yourself.

It's not as bad as cheating, but it has the same effect and is something i want dealt with. Said it a few times introduce a report smurf option, when the Overwatch case comes up the reviewer is told the skill level of the game and has to decide if the player is circumventing the rank system. If found guilty no one gets banned, the winners keep their win and any rank ups they got, all that changes is the losing team has the game written off as though it never happened.
That way you eradicate 90% of the problem, noob's get to 'learn' of better players (bullshit excuse) without it damaging their ELO or rank or w/e by playing someone they are not intended to play.
But it won't happen.

same here. Even though I don't play mm a lot, I dont think I've ever accused anyone for cheating on mm for a long time as GE.

You need to learn to play better. I use to hate smurfs but if you use proper tactics you can beat them. However where I am in MGE people whine about doing that because you need to rush for some reason. Like when we get bomb down 4v1 then people just rush the last guy and he clutches.
What's with the "skin or I ban u" in the chat log?

Lol you are really stupid you think I wanted to hide that from the public yet I would screenshot it? I wanted to see his reaction. You should make a backup of the backup of the backup of that photo who knows could be used later in a lawsuit amrite!

I'll probably release my decryptor if anyone is interested later lol

that sounds so fun. I would do overwatch just to decrypt it later on to find out who i was watching.
that sounds so fun. I would do overwatch just to decrypt it later on to find out who i was watching.
If you know what you are doing programmatically, the game talks to the GC(Game Coordinator) using the google protobuf median. You can just intercept the packets between them and grab the packet which contains the overwatch data. Here is what the message prototype looks like
struct CMsgGCCStrike
{
unsigned long long id; //0x8 Case ID
std::string* caseurl_; //URL 2 case file (decrypted)
unsigned int verdict_;
unsigned int timestamp_;
unsigned int throttleseconds_;
unsigned int suspectid_;
unsigned int fractionid_;
unsigned int numrounds_;
unsigned int fractionrounds_;
int streakconvictions_;
unsigned int reason_;
};
Normally you would have to decrypt the case assigned to you with the decryption key being the caseID however the packet gives you a direct link to the demo the server recorded so you just download that. As I said on my reddit post I will release a tool to do this maybe some time but yeah I agree it's pretty cool when you know the guy you're about to convict and who knows it could be even you :P
I used to use https://libertas.lt/de_overwatch/ to decrypt the cases I got and I managed to find one where I was reported.
What made it better was it was a match where I basically did nothing sketchy. :v:

I've gotten some pretty dirty awp shots recently, I think I may have toggled on by accident.
So I have been playing with 250+ ping recently, however I haven't really noticed any dropped in my performance.
What will happen if I play with lower ping suddenly?

Probably nothing. Since if you literally cannot feel the difference between 40 and 250 ping then there is something deeply deeply wrong with you.

As dirty as a flick noscope wallbang headshot from squeeky to A main on cache.
I did that a few days ago.
They were mad.
Just got reported by a whole team because of a wall bang kinda scared
Just got reported by a whole team because of a wall bang kinda scared
Don't worry, I've done absolutely ridiculous shots and never been OW'd. You'll never get banned for 1 crazy play.
Getting OW'd is really really fucking hard. Like valve are so scared of it banning innocent players it wont ban people who are pretty obviously triggering/walling.
What is the chance of someone being banned by overwatch "accidentally" more than two times?
Or are they just big bullshit masters?

What type of shit you going on about, If it's blatant they will, I would say that have an easy trigger finger for banning

They're cheating.
Basically unless they're legit some sort of sick beast and you've seen them play on lan they're cheating.

I would disagree since I doubt Ow'd seems to factor in every single thing when doing reports, (Call outs/Monitor size/etc)

You kept telling me and everyone that you kept getting banned by OW by accident, we played few games and after one of those games I got nice yellow message saying I've been penalized because one of friends was convicted of cheating :v:
I didn't enjoy derank :<

Yeah that's the problem I find with searching for players online to play with, they may be/sound like nice or decent person but then there is cheating :v:

I don't enjoy bans for wallbanging people who I get told are there or I know are there since the idiots walked or in some way indicated they were in a corner and a few other shit. I don't think Ow enjoyed me shooting through the floor to kill people at the entrance of palace.
