Counter-Strike: Global Offensive v6 "Almost Gold Nova!" - Games

So basically played a match, 1 guy abandoned and another one's steam login timed out so it turned into a 3v5, we played super hard, all of us getting 3-4k's constantly, and when it was 15-11 us, the other two guys just said "cya loser" and kicked me. On the "Your Matches" page it shows it as a 16-11 win for me, did I get ELO credit for it or not or what? [editline]11th October 2015[/editline] PS: fuck people do shit like that

I hate people who queue in a 3-4man and use TS for callouts. Me and my friend stumbled upon a 3man and they literally wouldn't call anything out in voice chat. And on top of that, they didn't buy in sync.

I should stream more. Not because people will watch, but because I like having recording of my games and I find it easier to go back to those and watch them to see things I did right/wrong.

And an automatic way to name them?[/QUOTE] You have to play them ingame, which isn't really that much of a problem since you can just run the game windowed because input lag wont matter for a demo. Automatic naming should be doable with an external program and some scripting hldj-style. Not sure if anyone actually made something to do that yet though.

I am on that losing streak again, one win in last 10 or so matches played. Like, five of those (not even kidding) with at least one bot on the team, three matches with racists who were busy shooting each other rather than the enemy, at least two with smurfs, and at least one with a cheater. It's fucking great. I could feel SMFC be very close, too. I guess that's what I get for not having a losing streak since DMG or something.

What do you consider a clear site? I have a mate that calls a clear A on dust 2, even though he hasn't even looked long, where 2 CTs are pushing with SMGs. Is that a clear site? I don't consider that clear at all. Yes the site itself is clear, but calling this makes people rush in with knife in hand to plant the bomb.

Clear would imply that it's safe

Yes the site itself is clear, but calling this makes people rush in with knife in hand to plant the bomb.[/QUOTE] A bomb site is clear when no enemies are on it but that's not code for dropping your guard, unless you know the locations of your enemies or time is almost up. you never go anywhere with a knife. In your example I'm assuming you took short and a friend got onto the site calling clear, in which case when you go in you have your gun pointed at the cross then long or you're looking at ct ramp, when you get on the site you can then safely plant for short. If the enemy fall back from long you can then plant for long or somewhere on the site if they are pushing ramp. You also have to take into account where enemies were killed so you can guess where the others are and where they will go. Basically a call for clear site means when you go in you don't have to check it, that's my opinion.

I don't understand why there's always somebody pushing this elitist viewpoint that you have to be LE or higher to be worth anything. Furthermore, why would the average ever change? I don't know a lot about the rating system for CSGO but it would make a lot of sense if the ranks were simply relative and there was a static average that could never change.
