If my mates don't want to play comp then i don't play comp. Even if the players you add are of lesser rank / skill and you derank. Those friendly players will get better faster and as a result so will you. Stop putting yourself at the mercy of match making because 90% of everyone regardless of rank is a cunt of some form.

I decided to block EU East and russian matchmaking servers. Now instead of russians I seem to be getting matched with French people, and not a single one has communicated with me and have been complete annyoing bricks. Are most frenchmen toxic on EU West? But hey, atleast I got out of GN4 and now am MG2.

Second time this week I couldn't connect to a match and fail to reconnect after constant retries. I could still spectate though, what the fuck is going on? It's infuriating. Is this a common problem with the latest update or is it a windows 10 issue?

It's astounding that even at MG2/MGE, people line up to get killed one by one trying to challenge an historically good awper like on cat or long doors on D2. It's like playing 3v5 every round but you don't get to take over the bots.

Just got to SMFC solo queueing, one more rank then I've beaten the game and I can move on to FACEIT.

It occurred to me recently that some people really under-estimate the importance of clear hearing in competitive games. I've seen many play MM with music playing louder than game in background.

That is, I can play well on US servers with pings of around 150ms, but then EU's not playable at that level.

Shouldn't really affect it in any way unless you're dropping packets due to bad routing.

I've been playing CS for the past 14 years, although I never played it very seriously. Now I'm wondering, am I wrong to give major priority to planting the bomb/guarding the dropped bomb as respectively T/CT? I still have a full rank to go so I have to grind casual (thank god for a mute button) and few people seem to have a sense of the objectives usually. People want to shoot shit, not win the game, or am I just oblivious to some strategy that does not involve planting the bomb/guarding it? Of course if it's e.g. 5 CT's versus 1 with plenty of time left I guess it's okay to go hunt down that one T (but still someone should guard the bomb, no?) Also I'm so fucking sick of DustII, in ~30+ games I've only encountered Dust2, Mirage and a little Nuke so far. I guess you can't play specific maps in casual?
