On the subject of betting, I've always wanted to get into it (if only with low-grade skins) but I have no idea what I'm doing. Where do I start?

I won a 10-0 with a great team that communicated perfectly, the next match is full of russians. Literally a guy yelling russia every round.

Was sitting in work, I see one guy nerdy looking, holds grudge against me because I know more about PC builds than he does, on my first day in work he came to our team department and showed everyone his pre-built PC he bought which has skylake, I asked why not build it yourself, would be cheaper and nicer, so he kinda held grudge against me. So today I am sitting, he came up again and I see hes talking about CS GO to my colleague, my colleague first time sees CS GO, he shows him around screenshots etc... Then that grudgy guy leaves, I come up to my col. and ask Do you play cs go? he says no, his friend just showed it to him, so I asked what is his friends rank, he shows me a rank picture and shows MGE2, I kinda wanted to feel cooler and said I am DMG (reality - MGE). I explain to my col. everything there is basics to know about cs go, like competitive rules and cooldowns, general rules and he gets very interested in it after talking with me about it (I Guess grudgy guy just walked up to him to show off that hes MGE2). So after work, I ran home and played a game of CS GO, literally at my best performance because my col. bought CS GO so he might soon find out I am MGE not DMG. BAM! After one game I am DMG and I say to him that I lost DMG last night and now got it back (first time DMG just now). Glad I could bring one more player into cs go. I feel like me and Mr. Grudge have a rivalry starting now, one day we will probably have a match 1v1. I can only assume hes bad at it, he has 600 hours on it and he's MGE2, I have 409 hours and it's been a rollercoaster of MGE for me.

Just throw it at the top point of the fire (be it an underthrow/medium throw)

How is it possible that I ranked up to DMG in 1 game? Game was 15:15. I had 5 MVP stars. I thought ties count was loss/no change?

As Reagy said, performance is key for ranking up.

Not to sound like a whiny bitch but anyone else notice the HUGE increase of blatant cheaters in Supreme/GE? Before I couldn't really tell if it was lucky timing because they aimed well and "got lucky" but in the past 10 games there was always someone (even on my team) with absolutely trash aim but too much "luck". pls volvo

I just attribute it to luck and skill till a certain point. After that I check their profiles and 80% of the time they have a new account (sub 100 hours) or are queueing with one. Now I mainly play with lower ranked friends and fuck around.

I believe casual reports count towards getting overwatched in comp, but you'll never see a casual demo in overwatch.
