Right now I feel that the problem with the M4A4 is that it is beaten in pretty much every important way by the AK, whilst the M4A1-s has the silencer and significant accuracy increase to provide a niche, and honestly the M4A4 either needs to be cheaper or given another buff.

The M4A1-s is better than the M4A4 in almost all situations and if you look at the distribution of the weapons at a top level, more often than not you'll be looking at all 10 players having the M4A1-s equipped [editline]29th August 2015[/editline] At the pro level, there have been 9 times as many recorded kills with the A1-s than the A4 this year (27% of kills vs 3% of kills [url=http://www.hltv.org/?pageid=183&statsfilter=4]source - HLTV[/url]) At cologne the M4A4 doesn't even appear in the top 9 weapons - beaten by the FAMAS, AWP and [i]mp7[/i].

Speaking of knives, I accidentally talked my IRL friend who barely plays this game out of selling me his safari mesh flip knife MW to me for 30$. It's almost FN condition, so it's worth like 60$ :(

Valve want to keep their precious radial menu divided into six, at least when it comes to the rifles; I guess they haven't added the CZ to the pistol section because that means they'd have to add the A4 to the rifle section which they can't do. ~justvalvethings~

i use the a4 because it has more ammo in the mag and i don't want to be caught reloading :( also you don't need to conserve bullets by not shooting through doors/smokes

Honestly that's what Valve should do, the CZ is too different from the Five-Seven/Tec that it doesn't make sense to have it as a choice.

so with the ban waves, what is the new average-decent cutoff point in terms of rank? i went from SEM to like mge/dmg without really improving at all and i've noticed people who were dmg/le talk about getting supreme/global pretty easily are you basically only decent now if you're global? edit: although i played against low novas yesterday and felt a noticeable difference in skill, maybe people are exaggerating

Also, for fucks sake, ranks were expanded before ban waves, but that's just a personal nitpick. A LEM could be really happy at his rank and believe he's good, because he doesn't have ambitions to go higher. Anoter LEM could think he "deserves" global but never get there because he thinks he's better than he actually is, other will think they're still bad. In the end, competitive in this game is far from what actual competitive counter-strike is. Plenty of globals with negative gamesense, who don't know how to set up sound properly, move their mouse like they've never handled one before and can't even manouver around the maps properly. But their aim is just so good they can get up there, is that good? That's up to everyone person to decide what "good" is.

With all these ban waves it makes me think Valve should add more ranks. Isn't it more appropriate since the silvers are now DMGs and DMGs are now Globals ? Idk, I just think its pretty stupid to have LEMs playing like silvers, ranks are probably now a big mess.

The waves ban negligible amounts of accounts, often less than 1k and hit 1 cheat out of the 50+ out there. Ban waves do jack shit but clean up some not blatant hackers. I've had more people get overwatched than VAC banned. But yeah, I noticed mass rank ups started ~a week before the ban waves hit, not that they're not appreciated though.

I hate this fucking community. Just playing some casual, dude starts talking shit. The whole next game he continues and thus so do I, and eventually I'm the one who gets kicked because apparently I'm baiting people in casual by not rushing in with an awp???
