Just won my 10th match in competetive and got Gold Nova 1 as my first skill group. I honestly expected some noob silver shit.

cs_assault is hilarious. I played with a full lobby, all of us know the map pretty well. We tend to play against two groups of people: people who also know Assault (and are on usually our friends list, lol) or people who have never played the map before. The enemy team was decidedly the latter. As soon we rolled out the SCAR-20s, the other team was calling wallhacks and reported us. One of them was streaming, and after we won, I watched the steam archive: not only did he report most of my teammates, he reported me [I]four[/I] [I]times[/I], three in game, and once on my profile. His teammates (nova/MG) spent most of the match complaining about us, and how they were [I]absolutely certain[/I] we were walling. At no point did it occur to them that not only is Assault the most wall-bangable map in the game, they never bothered trying it themselves. At the end, he was sure I would lose my account for cheating. so I gave him $10 on twitch for making me laugh. :v: Real talk, if you want to absolutely destroy me, play me on Mirage. I can't remember the last time I won that map.

So about 2 months ago I said to myself "im going to start betting on games and work up to a knife" Well ive just cashed out my winnings (started with a measly $2 skin) and they add up to around $60. Now I have a dilemma, do I go and put a bit of my own cash in to buy a not shit knife or do I put that 60 into a betting skin and keep going. Are there even any not shit skins that are < $80 to buy? (dont feel like putting a great deal of my own cash in...)

Eventually I stopped playing because I thought all the maps were really flawed and I didn't enjoy warming up with those servers anymore. I rarely play 1v1s anymore and I have my rating hidden but I'm pretty sure it's absolutely shit now. It'd probably pain me to see it. There really seems to be a skill to it because even though I've gotten better as a player I've gotten much worse at 1v1 arenas.

Fuck I hate smurfs... The other day, got a game with a guy that played with all the assurance in the world. He was the kind of guy who shoots only once, and that once is enough. He completely destroyed us, even aced with the deagle once. Also went with weird "tactics" like hoping along the wall in the CT to long corner, that connects to catwalk on short. Never seen anyone doing that before. Finihd the game with like 35 kills and single digit deaths. Everyone called him a cheater, and then he revealed he was a "GE you dumb fucks" because that apparently makes it ok. Everyone at MGE and this guy at MG2 with more than twice the performance. Seriously, games were going so well and then this guy shows up. Game before had some potatto head who won by a hair so full of himself and mad saying "kids think they can play because they use the awp", also sounded like a pompous ass. Fucked up my streak...
