I do, it still sucks unless you're in some edge cases.
Jump shots are better with burst, if you're at an HP disadvantage (say, 20 vs 80) burst might be better etc.
In general though, it's accuracy is ass.

Haha i know, i don't usually use the burst fire, it was a joke. But there has been some times i actually gotten lucky with it, i only use it on one map and in one special place, inferno as t when taking a and going apartments to balcony, don't know why but it works really good in that location.
So for people who have gotten the Service Medal, how did you grind that shit out?

i played competitive
You get 1440+480 XP per game if you get at least 30-40 points in the match a few times per week. Then it goes to 480+480XP a few games before dropping to 480XP each game max.
This is absolutely the best case scenario in Competetive.
I am just 10 levels away from level 40.

Competitive counts for rounds won, not points
the famas' burstfire on the other hand is the only way to famas unless they're within hugging range

I always keep it on auto when I'm on the move in case they decide to jumpscare me but the burst mode is fucking gr8 m8

One time I picked up a famas that had been left in burst mode. It got me killed. Never used or seen anybody use burst since.

Your performance matters. It might not be points specifically but something factors into it. Me and a friend pretty much never queue without each other but our ranks gained and lost don't happen simultaneously.

Mix of both as far as I know, winning/losing mattering more than stats.

I honestly prefer clips that gives context of the round instead of 5 seconds spray clips.

Well that's why I usually keep in on automatic. I use burst when I'm holding a defensible position.

I lowered my sens from 1000/1.25 to 800/1.0 and I'm aiming so much better now, holy shit. I can't really comfortably 180 anymore because I don't lift my arm and I have the standard size QcK but the way I see it, the ability to land headshots is way more important. I don't remember the last time I had to unexpectedly 180 anyway, my gamesense is pretty good and I'm very good at getting my teammates to call out.

Just got back to the game, been trudgning through the ranks to get to 3 and played my first yesterday, won and got my rank back.
A few times (once or twice?) I was added by someone looking to buy my Operation Bravo case, it may have started happening less often when I started playing CS:GO again.
How do these people find you?
So basically, we've come to the conclusion that 1 of 2 things will happen if you switch your famas to burst right before you die.
1. Your team will destroyed because the person will know how to use burst (unlikely.)
2. The guy that picked up your famas will die.
