I wish there was a way to use their custom design without having to use their "racial ability". (Which is only one city).
Isn't it possible to create a custom race with their appearance and a different racial affinity?
At least this was possible in ES, and I don't think they'd take it out of the game.

I haven't checked myself but I'm pretty sure they have it in the game.
Has anyone tried playing this with a touchscreen yet?

You can change the affinity, which changes how the faction looks, but also changes the core gameplay mechanic.
The cultist affinity is tied to the one city mechanic.
Beautiful game, but I suck at it. I've been trying for a Diplomatic victory with the Drakken, but the Necrophage hate me something fierce for doing all of nothing.

The Necrophage are incapable of any form of diplomacy short of truces and border opening/closing. If you're Drakken, you are best off killing them as soon as possible.
I hate to say it but the necrophages must be exterminated. The only reason to let them be is if there's another empire in between you and them. Although you shouldn't rush to exterminate them, they may be incapable of peace but that doesn't mean they'll attack you
Anyone want to get a game together at some point? Even just for a comp stomp.

Could play a game today I guess, if Excalibuurr wants to.
Yeah, sure I wasn't planning on sleeping anyways. :v:
Sorry, GTM+2 here. Go sleep so that we can play later :v:
I was thinking like some time past Noon US MST. :x
I'm not sure if this is correct for your region, this might be a problem :v:

I wouldn't mind playing at some point either :v:

Everyone would have to say when they are up to play though.
Being an asshole with the Roving Clans is great.
I'm allied to every single faction, and I'm fucking up every single faction with my bands of roving mercenaries. I'm pillaging the shit out of their cities and they're still giving me dosh and science from trading.
The Endless Legend multiplayer is pretty cool, kinda wish the game was more active though.
What do you guys think about the expansion, yay or ney?
Necrobump, but seeing as they've recently announced both an expansion for Endless Legend and a sequel to Endless Space, it'd be a good time to revive this thread.
Man, I haven't played Endless Space much because of the UI feeling the tiniest bit janky compared to Endless Legend's, so if this basically means "Endless Space but with Endless Legend's UI" this really has me interested.
I think Endless Legend is probably my favourite purchase from last winter's Steam sale. Playing it in multiplayer is quite fun, and the vastly different factions are possibly the best thing about the game. I mean, in Civ there's not that much mechanically different with one civilization compared to another, a different type of unit, and maybe free health/research/culture from some sort of bonus. In Endless Legend every single race plays almost completely differently.

Woah, that's pretty cool. I'm more interested for the Endless Space sequel though.
I agree on the diversity of the races, which makes me enjoy the necrophages a lot.
