Grand Theft Auto Series Megathread V5 - Weekly Threads - Games

This game is inconsistent when it comes to which cars of the world it wants to keep when you move away from them slightly. I went to Dr. Friedlander's, passed by that huge beach parking lot just north of the row of beach houses while in a car, and then I drove back and all the cars that I saw at that parking lot were still there. All of them. And yet other times it's like all I have to do is turn away from a car I just drove to make it disappear.

With the specs people are running it without problems i think the problem is either lack of ram or the HDD. The weird thing about this game is that it never seems to use close to 100% of neither CPU or GPU. Most of the time both CPU and GPU stays under 80%[/QUOTE] I got the same issue as you, similar specs, except I have an I3. Feels kinda shitty since I meet the minimum specs. Only thing I found helps a bit is turning shader cache off in the nvidia control panel. Let me know if you find a solution.

So I had an interesting idea for a heist, involving Merryweather tasking a group of four with stealing a prototype weapon from the US military so they can clone it and use it in their security force, as well as sell it to their customers. Not sure about the setups but the finale would be this: - Don uniforms acquired earlier, go to airstrip and get in a titan acquired earlier - Break into comms frequency and clear a landing at Fort Zancudo, land the titan safely - Move as a group and avoid rousing any suspicion, keep enough distance from personnel so they won't approach or question you - Stealthily remove anyone in your way, enter labs building - Use incendiary grenade acquired earlier to trigger fire alarm and clear everyone out of the building - Hurry to sub-basement, hack into prototype lab and acquire the railgun - Fight your way back up to surface level, eliminate heavy opposition with the railgun - Commandeer a Turkey VTOL (V-22 Osprey) as it lands on a nearby helipad - Eliminate remaining ground forces and tanks using the railgun and mounted LMG before taking off - Evade anti-aircraft fire as you leave, missiles can be shot and destroyed with the railgun, with the mounted LMG, or with the underbelly gun turret - Destroy all pursuing attack jets using the railgun, the mounted LMG, or the underbelly gun turret - Ditch the Turkey in the ocean at the designated location, get in speedboat - Go to los santos naval port and deliver the weapon for payment Rewards for the heist are: Money, access to Turkey VTOL, access to military uniforms, access to incendiary grenade, and access to railgun drop from merryweather (cannot be kept, drop can be stolen, has limited ammunition, marks you on the map)

Done.

So we just finished the final heist with M (20), A (20), K (20), and N (40). N got 1.5 mil, A got 2 mil, K got 300k, and M (me) got 200k. How the fuck do these payouts even work? Worth noting that M did Fleeca with N, N also did Fleeca with A, and K did it with none of us. Did K doing Fleeca with a third party confuse the game and ruin our payouts? But then why did N get way less than A?

How much does fleeca even pay out anyhow? I'm considering doing it just to make Lester stop bugging me.

I've had someone accuse me of cheating because of how quickly I was able to hit max speed and escape him in his kuruma.

The formation flight thing in the online flight school doesnt seem possible to actually gold. The half loop things at the end they just turn faster than your plane is capable of. Maybe its a keyboard and mouse limitation. I dont know. edit: figured it out, gear was down every time i was trying it. still got bronze somehow.

Shouldn't be long until they port it to V.

There are 3 rewards: Same Crew, In Order, and First Time. Originally we were all supposed to run the heists at the same time, but since I was away K went and did the Fleeca heist with a different person. N did it with me, then again with A so we would all have a chance to experience it. This forfeit N's [I]In Order[/I] bonus. K doing it with another person spoiled both K and I's [I]Same Crew[/I] bonus. We all got the [I]First Time[/I] bonus, however only A got all 3 bonuses due to being the only one fitting all the criteria. It's a shame, but that's the price of disloyalty :v:
