How much do you cost?
Sorry about the late reply: as much as you want, baby ;) But like $10 would be fine if you want to rent my abilities.
Has anybody found a good "fight club" deathmatch by any chance? I mean like a really small 4 person arena that's fists only and no weapons. I'd rather get my strength up by beating the shit outta people rather than playing tennis or golf.
I sent you a friend invite on steam.. (PersonalJesus) and we can start something if you'd like or just wing it and fight each other.
Well, hope i can meet you guys later today. Yesterday we had a nice chase after a guy who sticky bombed his own Zentorno to wreck our recent-insured bikes. I love doing those kinds of stuff, but i usually find only 3-4 members on the same session
I don't run into any trash talkers. The only people I ever run into who are actually using mics are Chinese people who just speak Chinese. Or in race lobbies tell the host to "tun on soopah cah"
I am the new self appointed rockstar writer and this is how the story should have progressed after the Merryweather container ship score: [sp] Main line: Michael and Trevor mentor Franklin. Michael teaches the kid to be smart:"This aint getting you far, you wanna end up like Trevor? Grow up. After a good score, after we deal with the FIB, be smart about it. Invest in real estate, take up stock, buy that towing impound, whatever. And cut the gangbanging." Trevor is the opposite:"Man, you were born to be the most badass motherfucker. You dont wanna end up like this rich useless fuck, rotting in the sun with a wife that bangs every pedestrian that passes by and kids that you are ashamed of and erectile disfunction and you got the fucking point. This is what life is about - action! With driving skills like this - you are going places! We are going places!" FIB line cuts after the FIB office raid. The crew destroys their files, abducts Haines. They set it up so that David arrests Haines for his astrocities. Haines gets jail time, David gets a boost in career, the crew is fully off FIB leash. Trevor and Michaels conflict progresses the same up to revisiting Yankton and Michael getting rescued afterwards. Later Franklin sets up a peace treaty between them for the last score. There is a new character- a politician Think Elephant from Payday 2. The crew does jobs for him, mainly Trevor. The politician is a typical radical Republican parody, shares many traits with Trevor so they get along. Trevor deals with the Chinese. Lester has Franklin do some jobs and Franklin gets connections in the crime scene. Franklin does some jobs for Martin. Franklin deals with Stretch together with Lamar. Franklin is like "I am tired of this gangbanging shit" Ursula is a major character in Trevor's line. Together with her Trevor goes on a spree of insane missions, eventually they develop a sick crazy relationship. The line of Devin Weston is same up to Franklins mission to deliver the cars. Having been scammed, the crew goes on a score - raid Weston's office and abduct Molly. Weston pays the crew a big buck for ransom. They set Molly free. Michael does a lot of missions for Solomon. Actually interesting movie related missions. Michael fails to get his family back. During the meltdown premier Weston appears as usual. Except he sent mercs to Fabian's place. Michael saves his family and Fabian from mercs. Fabian gets beat up as originally, family reunion happens. Immediately after the crew asks Lester to locate Weston. Franklin attends Tanisha's wedding, can either screw it up or not. Big score happens. The crew kills Weston. Finale: Trevor goes after Michael, there is a chase. Lester calls Franklin to get there before they kill eachother. In the end Trevor and Michael are aiming guns at eachother. Franklin is trying to calm them down and reason with them. - You are nothing but a rat, Michael! You are the reason Brad died! You fucked up your best friends to save your fat fucking ass! I trusted you, you were my best friend! Michael drops his gun on the ground, spreads his arms. - You are damn right! Pull the fucking trigger, do me a favor! I made a mistake, T, I thought I was doing the right thing. Player has to choose as Franklin: use T's reasoning or use Michael's reasoning. For T:"This ain't how it works, you cant set your homies up and get away with it. " For M:"Man this was ten years ago! He fucked up T, but he had a family. You and I don't know what it is like! We just pulled the big one, let's just drop it!" Which reasoning you use changes Franklin's ending drastically. Player switches to Trevor, gets a choice:"Shoot Michael or lower the gun to forgive him". Game ends. Epilogue is a set of small missions: Depending on a variety of choices (Tanisha's wedding, finale choice, maybe some other choices involving Lamar, Lester, Weston dialogues) Franklin either becomes either a legendary heister and Trevor-style wreck of a person or a successful finance guy. Legendary heister ending has the player control older Franklin and unknown heisters in a small portion of an unknown massive heist. Finance guy has the player control him on a business meeting about his company "FC" in partnership with Trevor Phillipa Ind. acquiring a part of Davin Weston company. Depending on Michaels choices with his treatment and his actions with his family he either appears as a drunk loner living in a trailer in the desert, sobbing over old family photos or a successful movie producer. In case of the movie producer ending the scene has the player take control of Michael and perform a stunt on a car (Michael kicks the stuntman out of the car and goes all "I will show ya how it's done") on set. Depending on Trevor's choices with Ursula and whether he forgave Michael or not he either becomes absolutely unstable or a successful politician. In case of instability the last scene has player take control of Trevor and fight police in an unknown city survival mode style. The police keep coming in increasing numbers until Trevor dies. In case of politician ending the last scene shows a political debate of Trevor vs unknown guy in a TV show. The debate heats up and Trevor starts beating the guy up. The scene cuts with Trevor smashing the guys face into the camera, after which the player is presented an image: Trevor in a suit in American flag colors, "Vote Phillips!" Written underneath. [/sp] Where can I get my writer pay check, I made a better damn story then R* writers. Sorry for the wall of text.
*lodsoftext*
I actually really like this, especially the idea of having choices matter in the story and radically different endings depending on them.
I wish the driving system was more of in between the current V's and IV's. In IV, cars genereally handled like shit but it gave you this huge satisfaction when you managed to drive around in high speed without turning your car into crumbled smoking wreck in 30 seconds or when you managed to drift into a turn without brushing one side of your car against a wall clean of a its paintjob. In V on the other side, cars handles TOO well. And it takes away take that rewarding feel of knowing how to handle yourself on the road. It also guarentees that any 12 year old kid with one own fist up his ass will be able to chase you down until you decide to pull something insane and hope you won't fuck up.
you'd be surprised how many people still fuck up driving in gta v including me
This isn't any better than what R* came up with. This reminds me of "ME3 proper ending" fanfics.
anyone up for the prison finale? we need 1 more
Only once I played I GTA Online in public and it was terrible. Rest of my time was spent with bros only instead. Has anyone found out how to get Animals and Single Player Population and Vehicle variety to Friends Only Session in Online?
GTA Physics logic:
I know how you feel...
you'd be surprised how many people still fuck up driving in gta v including me
Sure, you can still fuck up easily, but you can just as easily not fuck up; in that, driving in V isn't really challenging. It isn't hard to get it right, but because we're all human everyone will still don't get it right all of the time. Driving in IV was challenging, unrealistically so, but (for me) it felt so nice once you had mastered it because it was so hard. Driving around in V is still fun just because of the setting, but even with how dull IV's setting was, driving around was still fun because it was an experience in of itself, detached from the setting.
So I was messing around in SP last night, and found some cops in Vespucci Beach, so I decided to follow them around, the result: [vid]http://webmup.com/1be30/vid.webm[/vid] Apparently your limp body hitting another civilian as you're flying through the air after the cops run you over is punishable by death.
Do sport wheels affect traction on roads? I know that the offroads helps while being offroad, so naturally the sports would work for roads? Otherwise offroad tires would always be the best choice
I personally found the handling in IV "easier" as it was a lot more realistic. Cars did what they were supposed to, they didn't handle like boats at all in my opinion, unless of course they were cars that handle like boats in real life. The grip was much much more realistic, when you did a burnout and launched your wheels would keep spinning and smoking whereas in V you somehow have magical perfect traction if you launch from a burnout. The handling in V sometimes ruins my immersion, especially in first person, the cars just steer way to direct... taking perfect 90° turns at 120kmh in a >2-ton truck, yeah right. I really hope someone comes up with a mod that makes the handling close to what it was in IV.

Last time I checked, not every car there is, except few, perfomed on a road like a turd on ice. It'd be a whole lot better if it a wee bit tighter but definetely no V's way of tighter.
I wanna do some heist, don't really care what, though would prefer either of the ones after prison break as I haven't done those yet, can anyone host and maybe we can try to get a group together?
Enable slippery cars in the Director mode. That's how GTA IV cars handled.
Not at all. Anyone who knows anything about cars will agree that the handling in IV was a lot more realistic. Not saying it was perfect by any means but for people who are into cars and know how to drive it was just better.
Not at all. Anyone who knows anything about cars will agree that the handling in IV was a lot more realistic.
Not by a bit. And realistic not always means better.
Jeez this all players leaving bug is really starting to annoy me Found a facepuncher with a bounty hiding in Binco, we got in my Kuruma and then proceeded to evade bounty hunters and cops, it was super fun, and then everyone left. Whoever you were, it was fun while it lasted ;(
Not by a bit. And realistic not always means better.
It doesn't, yeah. But for people who care about realism/immersion it does.
Enable slippery cars in the Director mode. That's how GTA IV cars handled.
Except not at all, also wow that's one original post.
I wanna do some heist, don't really care what, though would prefer either of the ones after prison break as I haven't done those yet, can anyone host and maybe we can try to get a group together?
I have a group of 3, wanting to do the prison heist finale
It doesn't, yeah. But for people who care about realism/immersion it does.
But IV's car handling wasn't realistic. Like, at all. I am doing driving school IRL right now and if IV's car handling were implemented into real life, I'd be scared for my life to go over 40kmph.
Not by a bit. And realistic not always means better.
Exactly, and IV's "take on realism" was what made it fun. It's kinda like how Counter Strike has that "take on realism" that actually isn't realistic at all but gives the game it's distinction.
But IV's car handling wasn't realistic. Like, at all. Try doing a perfect 90° turn at 120kmh in a city and then tell me how that went. But yeah, V's handling is still a lot better than most other open world games out there.
Anyone up for Series A? Hit me up on Steam http://steamcommunity.com/id/Shotz
Just as I said before, I wish the V's driving system was a bit more like in IV, where driving around and being able to hold your shit together on a road fell rewarding.
Exactly, and IV's "take on realism" was what made it fun. It's kinda like how Counter Strike has that "take on realism" that actually isn't realistic at all but gives the game it's distinction.
There's a couple things from 4 that i'm missing from 5, primarily how reactive enemies were to getting shot. There's still a little of that there but it is pretty tame in comparison.
