Not sure if it's possible, but if it is, how do you open the C130's back hatch? I wanna do some tricks and get some cars in it.
I've had a full driving license for over 5 years and GTAIV is very very unrealistic. Fuck having cars that handle like that.
No GTA game to date has actually had realistic handling. I think that's something we can all settle on.
The grip of V combined with the weight of IV would be reasonably close. Watch a real rally and you'll see what I mean.
I've been having stuttering/graphical problems as of late, but only in Online. Story Mode seems fine, but ever since that last patch Online has been almost unplayable when driving.
Anyone who was in that game with me-- sorry for losing my shit a little bit there with Winston-8

Aren't rally cars modified to shift balance and stuff anyway? Unlike regular civ versions in GTA games.
But yeah, something between IV and V would be about right, close enough to realism while still very accessible.

My stutter is weird as fuck. It starts in about five-ten minutes of playing, gets real heavy and then disappears. And then again. And it's impossible to predict. And it's only in Online too. Seems like quite a bit of players have that, I've seen people complain ingame even.

IIRC use of the trainer to spawn singleplayer assets causes server-wide client stutter as the new assets are being loaded.

My point is that even off-road, they don't slide everywhere like their tires are made of butter. Driving in dirt is miserable in IV, even with an appropriate vehicle.
That's why I emphasized the grippy and responsive nature the cars in GTAV have, which is honestly more realistic in most cases because stock brakes, transmissions and tires are much better than people give them credit for.
I want to try out the native trainer for the game but im afraid of the consequences, is it actually allowed given rockstars stand on the whole modding scene?
Also it wont force me to restart the entire game though, right?
could someone also link me the best one, I dont know if there a few in circulation atm

I think they said they are not gonna stand it in Online or let it ruin experience in Online for others. So keep it in SP, and you should be okay.

Oh, right, you meant the ice-like nature of everything in GTAIV. I agree.

I won't argue with the grip, but I find it ridiculous how well everything in GTAV climbs ridiculous mountain slopes.
Perhaps GTAIV had unnecessary bad handling on off-road, but doing an off-road race with Sanchez in GTAV is just simply boring. I've said this before, but the I would personally take physics which are between the V and IV with a slight lean towards IV since it feels much more fun and exciting to drive around.
Anyone want to do the Fleeca heist with me on PC? I'm in Faps 1.
Maybe the physics are between the two leaning on IV stock, but you'd be able to modify stuff like the total mass and weight distribution to push it more towards V.
You'd have to know where to put the weight in the car you're modding based on what you want to use it for (mid low for race, front for drift, etc), or the right weight total to get the best response (use carbon fiber or remove unnecessary parts to reduce weight). It'd be something you'd actually have to think about or experiment with, rather than a "make my car 10% better" button that costs $10,000 to press.
Im ashamed to admit it, but I dont know how to properly break and take corners while driving cars. Any tips?

I'd host it if I had an apartment. I know how frustrating it is to get someone. Took me a day to find someone. Good luck.

I was intending to host it. Lost my in order bonus and was hoping to get it back.
The thing that bothers me about V driving is when cars fly up into the air at the slightest provocation. Okay, I'm actually only talking about one car: the Dukes. When I'm driving through traffic at high speed and finally hit something, and the car flips up vertical to the ground, taillights in the air. That seems... a bit unlikely.

Well shit, I'll do it with ya. Add C0valent

Non handbrake: Let off of the accelerator, feather the brake to reduce speed and take the turn, use left/right to maintain control if you slide, resume acceleration once you're facing the right way.
Handbrake: Let off the accelerator, take the turn wide to ensure enough space, tap handbrake and direction of the turn to begin slide, use left/right to maintain control and point yourself the right way, feather the brake if you start to lose control of the slide, follow through and accelerate to correct your trajectory and complete the turn.
Both of these depend heavily upon what you're driving. The former works well for anything, but the latter will let you maintain more speed around turns, which is essential in races.

What I always tell people who are new to driving games: if you need to brake, do it BEFORE turning, not while you're turning (usually even just a few taps is enough but it depends on the situation), let go of the throttle untill you're about halfway through the turn
After that it's just a matter of practice and learning how your car of choice handles
E: Boo for ninjas
If you drive on snow in North Yankton you feel like driving a race car in gta IV on asphalt.
This game can be beautiful.

Sorry man, I had some stuff I had to get done. Maybe go again tomorrow? I already played a lot of GTA today.
Saw someone with infinite health throwing grenades everywhere outside my apartment last night. Told everyone on voice chat how to kill him and he spent the next fifteen minutes fleeing from a horde of vengeful players dropping grenades as he went.
It was magical.
