So I was doing the Fleeca heist with a newbie, and he was taking forever with the hacking, so I engaged in... alternative activities. As soon as we got in the bank he shot a civilian with an rpg and we failed. He then left.
Sorry man, I had some stuff I had to get done. Maybe go again tomorrow? I already played a lot of GTA today.
yeah sure man
Fucking hell why is parachute landings the hardest thing in the damn game? I fail the landing because I failed to make a course correction 400 meters away.
Got the game over the weekend and found most of the cars I wanted, now to spend years grinding up enough race wins and levels for the upgrades :v:
Fucking hell why is parachute landings the hardest thing in the damn game? I fail the landing because I failed to make a course correction 400 meters away.
They aren't hard at all... Are you holding shift for a precise landing?
does it count for the upgrades if you win a race if you're the only person doing the race?
I'm really digging this new outfit I put together.
[vid]http://a.pomf.se/ktoptv.webm[/vid] I fucking hate public players so much, how the fuck is it possible for them to be so retarded
I've oddly had a lot of luck with random invites most people I meet are pretty chill. Sometimes people do some dumb shit though I once did keycodes with 2 level 6's who did better than me and another player, he's level 20-30 and I'm level 40 :v:
If you're going into a heist finale at a low level (under 20), please, PLEASE watch a walkthrough first. You don't have access to enough gear for it to be a cakewalk, do your homework so you don't suck. [editline]t[/editline] I don't care if anyone disagrees, I know from experience that the biggest problem doing heist finales with randoms is "What do I do? Where do I- *dead*"
Bloody hell, I wish the game told you who was speaking over the mic at any specific time I got stuck with some random arsehole who kept screeching down the mic and now I have a fucking headache On a lighter note, finally unlocked heists, how good are they for dosh and RP?
They aren't hard at all... Are you holding shift for a precise landing?
It's harder than anything else I've had to do. Seems like you have to set your course at least 300 meters away and if you're within 100 meters it's too late. My best landings are usually within 25 meters, up to 50 on a bad landing. What does Shift do besides move the camera to a position that's even harder to see from?
Non handbrake: Let off of the accelerator, feather the brake to reduce speed and take the turn, use left/right to maintain control if you slide, resume acceleration once you're facing the right way. Handbrake: Let off the accelerator, take the turn wide to ensure enough space, tap handbrake and direction of the turn to begin slide, use left/right to maintain control and point yourself the right way, feather the brake if you start to lose control of the slide, follow through and accelerate to correct your trajectory and complete the turn. Both of these depend heavily upon what you're driving. The former works well for anything, but the latter will let you maintain more speed around turns, which is essential in races.
Nah, the latter is only ever useful around hairpin corners where you are practically stopped anyhow. What you actually want to do is keep as much speed as possible while taking the corner by slowing down enough so you don't lose traction while turning. [editline]28th April 2015[/editline]
Im ashamed to admit it, but I dont know how to properly break and take corners while driving cars. Any tips?
What you want to do is anticipate the road a head of you. Use thirdperson to get a better view of what is a head. You can tell how fast you are going by how far the camera is zoomed out. Use that as a guide to determine what speed you must take a corner without flying off the road. Slow down for coners using the breaks. Try and always keep traction, never use handbrake unless you want to show off some sik diftz bruz. Using a controller will help shitloads as you can finely control the inputs.
STORY MODE QUESTION: So each character has his unique car. I know they always return after missions or when you switch to other characters even if you leave them in the street (unlike your stolen and saved ones which get towed). What happens if they get destroyed? Just to be crystal clear I'm talking about Michael's black car, Franklin's white one and Trevor's red one.

I might have been in the same session as you. [editline]28th April 2015[/editline]
STORY MODE QUESTION: So each character has his unique car. That fucking Bike job, how do people fuck it up so much. The only time I've ever died doing it I was going out of my way to make it easier for others because they kept randomly dying.
Reminds me when me and two of my friends were trying to do the Prison Bus mission for the heist. I stole the bus, and we all lose the cops, except for one fucking guy. That guy kept killing the cops, doing everything but trying to lose them. Obviously he ended up dying and the mission failed. This happened two times. The third time he died again but since he was the only one who was still wanted, he lost the the cops when he died and we could finally continue. Or so we thought, because as soon as he respawned, he engaged the cops and got himself killed again. Obviously we restarted without him after that. Oh and i forgot to mention that he kept talking in Russian the whole time.
Anyone want to do the Prison heist? cwookie on Social Club
That fucking Bike job, how do people fuck it up so much. The only time I've ever died doing it I was going out of my way to make it easier for others because they kept randomly dying.
Because the cops are ultra aggressive and it's easy to get rammed off the road and swarmed. The mission would be 3x easier if you were using cars, then switched to bikes once you got halfway up the mountain where the cops stop spawning.
So I finally got a good enough team at random to finish the prison heist, it all went swimmingly right up till the VERY end. I was waiting on the beach with the helicopter and everyone was parachuting down, they all made it onto the beach... except one who face planted the cliff right at the beach and died rolling down it, we had to do the whole thing all over again...

So uhh, is it normal that 100% of my games are empty or nigh empty? I don't mean the freemode, there's usually people there but when I host or join a job, I'm lucky if we're 3, it's kind of boring to play those 16-30 player gamemodes that sounds fun but we're only 2 or 3 at best.
yeah that's pretty normal i tried joining a random job the other day and even the host ended up dipping on account of no one else going for it.
Lol I dunno who SilkySmoothNuts is on here but bro you gotta chill out man.

You'd think with all the players probably playing this game that it'd be easier to fill a lobby.

The only part I legitimately enjoyed was actually robbing the bank.
It seems to me like no one plays any regular game modes now that Heists are a thing.
That's probably why they waited so long to introduce heists.
It seems to me like no one plays any regular game modes now that Heists are a thing.
I still do contact missions regularly. I've barely even touched heists since I beat them all once already.
just played a 10 lap team "GTA" (combat) race on rally with insurgents and wanted levels on. In other words, it was a clusterfuck of epic proportions. wish i had recorded it.
Now I'm encountering Fp'ers using trainers. And not just to look like a monkey or anything like that, stuff like using the Railgun, flying around in cars at super speed, and invincibility.
