Just done all the stuntplane trials, all to gold using only the keyboard to fly. Why is flying hard again?
Where's the cheapest I could get this game that isn't some shady russian key site?
Nuuvem
So, since I got no answer whatsoever when I asked in the last thread (not even a sarcastic one), I'll ask again here: What are some relatively low-risk ways I can start earning back all I spent? Other than flight school, because I've done everything up to low flying and after 300+ attempts with every control method I have available to me (keyboard, mouse control, controller, controller bound to Dpad, and an actual goddamn flight stick), I just can't get past that.
If you want a good tip for the low flying mission use a controller and fly with your landing gear out, it makes you go much slower and makes it loads easier and occasionally tap RT for a bit of speed.
I'm literally going to buy this card tomorrow.. How's your performance otherwise? I'm hoping this isn't something that's very common.
I have one - I've never seen anything like this in ~30 hours of gameplay on very high settings.
Probably a dumb question, but how would I go about allocating more video memory to GTA V? I know my graphics card (AMD Radeon HD 6570) has 8GB of RAM, but ingame the video memory on the settings menu seems to max out at 1024MB (1GB). I'd love to be able to run the game in 1920x1080 res fullscreen, but due to this memory issue, the best I can do (with all graphical settings at their lowest which is what it defaulted to) is 1152x648 fullscreen. The default resolution that the game booted up in was 800x600 Windowed with everything set to its absolute lowest which is disappointing to me. I'd like to be able to test the limits of my system but not when the game only gives me a limit of 1024MB.
no it doesn't. hate to be that guy, but there are [del]no graphics cards with 8 gigs of vram, full stop[/del] very few consumer graphics cards with VRAM higher than 4GB.
Is max ammo broken? I can keep buying ammo to all guns whenever I get into a lobby and now I'm at 4k ammo, a friend is at 5.5k.
Crashing more frequently now Am I the only one?
*gtx titan
considering the 6570 was a <100USD card when it was new, comparing it to the titan is a bit fruitless
Is there no way to access the rendered file in the steam folders? Can you only upload it to youtube? I swear someone posted the directory here but I can't find it in the recent pages.

%localappdata% rockstar games then something or other folder
you also said that there are no graphics cards that have 8GB of vram i can think of quite a few of them now, sure out of everyones budget but they do exist
having a VRAM battle isn't the point of this discussion the point is that his graphics card sux :)
Is max ammo broken? I can keep buying ammo to all guns whenever I get into a lobby and now I'm at 4k ammo, a friend is at 5.5k.
Your shooting stat raises your max ammo

The rest is probably just system memory caching.
I've been having this screen freeze on death in a heist thing during every heist I'm doing and it's fucking annoying. It only happens to me when I die as the last person causing the heist to fail. It doesn't happen to any of the other guys I play with. Is this a common issue or does it not occur to many players?
How do you activate the TXAA they advertised in one blogpost? I can't seem to find it, pcss works just fine though. I'm running a GTX 570. fuck
Is it possible to bind flight to an actual joystick? I tried it but I can't find any way to.
Didnt see any reply to this but a friend of mine has tried it and he said how the only way he saw how was to rebind the different flight keys to his joystick movement or somethin, and said it didnt work well at all.
Holy fuck Russians are so bad at racing.

Off and 8x will make TXAA grey out.

Random disconnects ruined our hiest right at the end now twice. Are servers shitting themselves again?
I really need some people to do the Prison Break heist finale. I can't handle all these incompetent randoms.
I did some testing and found out that you can still use MSAA even though it tries to turn it off. After you apply the changes and try to close it asks you if you want to keep your changes again and just hit space for No. I'm going to run the game tonight on 10.1. I'm still confused it appears my game is locked at 60fps even though everyone says the game isn't locked... I seriously haven't seen it go above 60 fps AT ALL, ever. I'm using Geforce Experience FPS counter. I'm going to try the Steam FPS counter to see what that does... [editline]18th April 2015[/editline] Yeah Steam is doing the same thing.
Ah yeah, it also works for soft shadows. As for your FPS, do you perhaps have vsync on? That is what vsync does, locks the game to your monitors refresh rate in order to prevent screen tearing
so I'm glad that after 3 days with my issue that won't let me install the game that's attached to my account i was given a copy pasted response from rockstar telling me to "double check the code I'm typing in is correct" christ guys
I honestly liked IV's driving physics a lot more. Made the cars more interesting to drive. Not to mention how fucking awful the motorcycles feel in the V. And the damage system in V doesn't help at all, the cars can be smashed all day long and driven normally with all 4 tires bent to hell. Also who thought that putting the ridiculous "car on roof = exploding car" was a good idea? That's just bullshit. So yeah, as much as I'm enjoying the game I feel like the physics have been watered down to ridiculous levels. It just feels way too bland and casual for my tastes. I'd be more than happy to see Rockstar to add something like "hardcore" physics option. I would have personally went somewhere between IV's and V physics with a little more of IV. [editline]19th April 2015[/editline] Also adding a steering sensitivity slider wouldn't hurt...
about V's damage system, it was dumbed down in GTAO so that during races and such fucking up your car wasn't such a hassle the damage system in V itself is pretty unforgiveable, hit a wall too fast and your wheels are gonna fuck up, divert from their axis, completely stop turning or even just pop off in certain situations
I'm still baffled that I can run this at my native resolution at around 40 FPS constantly.
so i was fucking around at the sewers with franklin and got to some interesting as fuck places and it was fun for a while, then i started thinking. The shooting, mechanics and overall everything (at least on pc) feels fantastic and a lot better than max payne 3. I would say the animations and gameplay is the most fluid of all the gtas, red deads and max paynes combined, though, its obviously not the most fun to play at shootings, i asked myself why and i think i got to some semi answer. Games like the payne series work because the focus is on the shooting sections, they are built to have massive amounts of guys coming to you, weapons and intense non stop shooting sections. But GTA V does not have this. Everytime it gets kinda intense with the shoot outs it last just a couple minutes and then its 10 missions with driving around and doing stuff, that even when they are funny/interesting/great, they cut the feeling of the shooting, even the overall theme of gta v, the kinda satirical tone it has, has a negative effect on this. As for the sewers i was going through, they are perfect places for these kind of non stop shootout missions, that im afraid arent going to happen. I think the gta saga is missing big time on that aspect, while the shooting is the best in any rockstar related game to this date, theres nothing to expand on it, the shooting missions take too long on preparation, driving/talking to get to the action that when it gets there, it just goes too fast and i dont feel like doing all that again to get to the fun part. I hope gta gets there in a better future.
