That didn't take long
That's a lot of work put into the UI when they haven't even demonstrated anything to do with MP yet.
One vs One deathmatch is the worst daily objective to get. No one ever wants to do a 1v1.
Which is a shame because 1v1 snipers and 1v1 fisticuffs are often the highlight of smaller sessions. They're both incredibly fun with the right person.
This thread really makes me want to leave early from work today and install GTA v , really hope it wont take too long to install or anything
Should I install it on my SSD or 7200RPM harddrive? Not that much of a difference I heard?
Shame the musket isn't obtainable at all anymore. That'd be another fun 1v1 ruleset.

finally I can relive my first experience with samp: being kidnapped and forced to work as a drug runner!

I remember winning musket fights because it had a hefty 3s reload per shot even with 100/100 Shooting, however switching to a melee weapon and back bypassed it. Could get a shot off every half second.

don't get your hopes up
we still can't encrypt the content back which means no editing, since GTA Online is the new Rockstar cash cow i doubt anyone will figure the encryption any time soon, and even if they did, Rockstar won't allow the online to go to shit
honestly i have some serious doubts about mods on GTA V
Honestly you guys might just have to hope Just Cause 3 kicks ass and JC3MP gets started very soon after launch with lua support for role playing and custom game modes.
Gta V will crash sometimes with this error
ERR_GFX_D3D_INIT then will constantly give me that until i restart my entire pc does anyone else get this or is it my hardware?

Switch off shadow play if you turned it on / don't overclock (try it, may work)
Online is cool and all but I'd sacrifice Online for a LSPD:FR mod. So much potential right there alone.
Jesus, it's been 5 days since I sent in my ticket to Rockstar Support and they haven't even looked at it
This support is worse than steam support

I sent one about my launcher crashing even before I could install and after 5 days they told me to use the launcher to update to the latest patch.

you can insert the info into running memory.
you can add empty job triggers into the map by coping and pasting a job trigger and changing the location.
The thing is that I see other people get help with their tickets after a day or two, and I have been trying to contact them on twitter but no replies
If anyone has a save game file from slightly before/after the [sp]Merry Weather Heist[/sp] can you plz PM me. My HDD crashed and burned and I lost everything, including my GTAV progress :<

Let me tell you about my tragedy that is trying to launch GTA 5.
So I got a launcher from some random guy on the internet since GTA refused to download the 5 Gigabyte patch. However, at the end the launcher updated itself again so I couldn't play the game. The launcher crashed. That was tuesday. 2 days of angry "Just launch this fucking game already" later Rockstar released a patch which supposedly fixed a bug where you were unable to launch the game if your Windows username contained anything unusual, which shouldn't affect me anyway cause my username is my first name. I still couldn't launch the game. So I got the launcher from their website which you were supposed to use in case after the update you still couldn't play the game. The launcher still crashed.
Then I created another windows user with the name "test", shift and rightclicked the launcher, chose "launch as different user" and then everything worked. And the performance is great, too. It is a shame really. Game runs smooth as it could on the highest settings. It's just the launcher that annoys the crap out of me. Seriously, what the fuck?
I can't run the game under normal circumstances because of a bug that has already been fixed but I even shouldn't be affected by in the first place.

Shadow play is off and I'm using the msi gaming app that came with my gpu for OC mode which the card is designed for
So not only do I get horrible stuttering and can't connect to Social Club, I now can't get the update since it doesn't ask me to update and I get these weird lines on stuff.

And ? I hardly call that modding. We still can't do anything with the meta and xml files. And don't get me started on textures and models.

I just wish the police uniform bug still worked, I loved wearing that during the heist.
Just as i was about to finish a heist my internet decided to die for the first time in months :/

Yeah you too man! Hopefully we can do Humane Society together!
It seems like 8 out of 10 people in online fall back onto the old tired over-dressed suit style.

A guy I saw was dressed like a cowboy and I said "Nice suit, Johnny Cash" and he sounded exactly like Johnny Cash when he responded. I was terrified.
just played against a guy with a nickname of "korea_opop" or something, he was lagging through the whole map and ended with a 20/4 k/d, mmmhm
Uhhg why does GTA V keep crashing my display driver after a while at stock clock speeds on my 980.
YES, I managed to get Social Club working.
Now I can play with you guys.
