You don't lose the money you have on you if you die. The only way to lose a lot of money from another player is if they send a mugger on you and manages to kill the mugger and steal the money before you do.

the moment you can, you can enable passive mode by going into online - options - etc

Guys, does anyone have this bug where you're stuck at a mission failure screen AFTER it restarted? Just played a heist setup and after failing it once I was stuck on the screen, I could move around but didn't see anything. Changing views didn't help either. :(

So I was just driving around in the desert and notice shots coming at me from a ways away, so i head towards it and he starts shooting me more and then just keeps shooting and shooting and shooting, and then he starts shooting rockets at me, and throwing explosives, and just being a general shitlord who has no fucking clue what is going on and I am just driving around in circles laughing my ass off at him wasting ammo on a guy who is clearly in passive mode

Then he says this and I laughed even harder

Then my game crashed with no error other than the exe stopped responding or whatever.

God damnit. If it isn't d3d_init failed, then it is just normal crashes? I literally just started up the game.

Also how do people who shoot this much at people still have a white dot? Aren't they supposed to be red/pink if they are shooting people who haven't done shit? Unless he just fails so hard that he hasn't killed anyone with all those explosives

I did that yesterday. Had a guy trying to shoot me while I was in passive. He ended up ragequitting because he couldn't kill me.

The funny thing is that just before I noticed this guy shooting at me, I was on the runway closeby and had a guy drive up and start spraying through his windshield at me, I flip my car around and start reversing at him for fun and when I get inside his vehicle (cuz no collision with people in passive mode) he left the game. Dunno if he rage quit or crashed or w/e, but it was funny so I tried it again with the next guy.

So i figured out what the motorcycle I had that disappeared was, it was the Western Daemon. I found it parked in a parking lot all by itself, put it in my garage and today it wasn't there anymore. I guess it is pretty hard to find, which makes that annoying. Should I submit a ticket?

I got the character creation screen the 2nd time I logged in, maybe it lets you edit it once before your second time playing the game in case you want to make any 2nd chance changes?

1st time I went online I made my dude and all that jazz, then never went online again for like a week where I beat the main story then I went online again and got the option to edit my character.

I have two heist mission stories where I was the cause of failure moments before the mission was complete.
During the prison break setup mission where you steal the plane we were waiting for the pilot to drop it off so I went to the gun shop as there's else to do. I arrive at the counter and look over the guns then exit and tab out briefly. When I come back in and close the ESC menu the clerk is yelling at me to get the fuck out and I have no idea what I did to anger him. I looked at him and then he pumped one shell into me and died when the pilot was <10 meters away from the drop off point. This was like attempt 5 so tensions were beyond high after this.
In the last heist during the finale we restarted, after probably 2 hours of attempts, to get >1 million dollars in cash and we almost made it to the end in one go. I was at the very end right before the jump after crossing the bridge. I used KERS right at the beginning of the bridge and hit right a little bit early before the cliff and crashed into the barrier of the bridge and the bike fucking exploded and killed me. I started to laugh my ass off at 3am due to all my sanity being lost. We finally beat this after another day by using an armored car.

So why the hell is there a censor on online? It makes no sense that in a game as profane as GTA people can't use profanity.
