I found and stored a Futo in my garage, when I got in there my Ruiner had been replaced with a Futo (so there were two in my garage). Now I've restarted the game, and both the duplicate Futo and my Ruiner have simply vanished...
AMD is better* *if that's your preference over nvidia because it's neither better or worse hardware wise because both are great
As a guy who actually knows more than what's on the box and the PR material, AMD is cheaper and often objectively better, but they also tend to be more cheaply made, and regularly underlive their expectancy due to being factory clocked to a speed and running temperature higher than what the material they're made of is graded for. For some this is a reasonable tradeoff, particularly those who upgrade their components very frequently. Even still, it's a preference matter at its core.
I went to best buy and AMD is very impressively cheap, for the power I hear it has for the cost compared to nvidia it's pretty interesting how it's still pretty powerful
They're using cheaper materials and pushing them harder, resulting in something that's temptingly priced and blazing fast, but is widely documented to be more prone to failure. Again it depends on what your priorities are. If you swap out your GPU every couple of years it might never be a problem for you, which is why enthusiasts tend to like AMD.
That and on a semi unrelated note. AMD just behaves on Linux. Unlike Nvidia (750 TI nouveau driver is a cunt and almost every other driver with it)
Linux drivers for nvidia prop are fantastic so you're wrong. But it's not like GTA V runs on Linux in first place
Honestly if you got a trainer and turned off the wanted level you can totally do a makeshift Police RP in SP. Get a cop car and just patrol around. You'll see those random muggings, car jackings, robberies and on occasion a shootout between cops and other NPC's or police chases.
really the only mod i want at the moment is a water level controller. i've wanted to explore the sunken city in a submarine since i first saw videos of the mod on 360
Latest patch has made me lose about 10-15 fps. Which sucks cause I found the ideal graphics settings to play at 60fps + with only very small dips to 55fps while the game looks great. Now there seems to be mostly at around 55-45 which is playable but the stuttering seems to be seen a lot more now.
i feel bad for the people who have problems playing, i mean everyone i know in steam that i play with have had no problems, maybe the glitches like after a heist they can't return cause some graphical shit but other than that no problems on our end.. , maybe a clean install of windows will help people and get all the right drivers for your motherboard/ cpu. i did a clean install like a month before gtav came out. btw im running a 3570k i5 and 2x's 760 2gb cards with 16 gb ram. in the city ill get 51-60 fps with everything maxed, except the ADV graphics the sliders are half way up w/fxaa on and msaa on 2x, v sync on, but the country i get like 46-50 fps
My game is now suffering from memory leaks. My ram usage from gta just keeps going up and up and up, eventually crashing my game and my computer. I tried allocating extra virtual memory in my ssd and hdd configs but that doesn't solve it, just gives me a few more minutes of playing. I guess there's no fix for this?
what the fuck is wrong with bicycles in this game? It seems that doing anything, even steering when going downhill makes you lose stamina
what the fuck is wrong with bikes in this game? It seems that doing anything, even steering when going downhill makes you lose stamina
Think about what you just said "Using a bike made me tired. This is bullshit!"
Gotta give it to GTA IV's driving model. It's the only game to this day I played that actually made me use handbrake.
Think about what you just said "Using a bike made me tired. This is bullshit!"
Next time please actually read what I stated about going downhill, also known as doing nothing exhausting Yet I still fucking fall off the thing, how am I supposed to complete this
Gotta give it to GTA IV's driving model. It's the only game to this day I played that actually made me use handbrake.
I hope somebody makes a mod for car handling in 5 that brings it closer to 4,I feel like it was perfect in that game. Car damage too, in 4 one good crash made you unable to drive anymore, in this a head on collision with another car barely makes a dent
Next time please actually read what I stated about going downhill
Guess I should've better indicated the facetiousness. Either way I could see that being pretty taxing depending on your speed and the grade of the slope. Freewheeling down a hill is effortless, trying to take a hard turn while doing so isn't.
I think I know why. You spin the pedals if you turn, for some weird reason, can you not do that? I just want to turn, not lose my stamina even more
So I finally caved and bought/modded a stealth Voltic. I have never regretted a decision less, that thing can fucking MOVE. And it looks like a miniature batmobile. [t]http://i.imgur.com/8kk35vA.jpg[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/Gts2dEh.jpg[/t] [editline]22nd April 2015[/editline] It's not notably fast or anything (well below average for a super), but it's electric, so it rockets up to full speed in virtually no time whatsoever. In a straight quarter mile drag there are only one or two things that can reliably beat it.
If you reverse in the rain in that thing, it will outpace any other super car.
I fucking hate cunts who justify ramming/spinning out in races by saying: "This is GTA, go play Grand Turismo". Such cunts.
This is kind of silly. Surely ramming/spinning people out is part of the races? I do it all of the time as well as pretty much everyone does it to me. If you don't want to be rammed or span out then do a non-contact race, that's a better suggestion. Ramming/Spinning people out is just part of the game.
If you reverse in the rain in that thing, it will outpace any other super car.
I've found it can take a lot of people by surprise in races, because getting spun out or hitting a wall isn't as big a deal for something that can get right back up to full speed almost immediately. There are some very key situations in which having acceleration that good gives you an enormous advantage, races with abundant hairpin turns being one. You can afford to take the turns slowly and maintain greater control while everyone else is sliding around and wiping out trying to maintain their speed around the sharp corners. [editline]22nd April 2015[/editline] Also holy fuck you weren't kidding with that. Physics, you're drunk, gimme your keys.
God dammit. I sent a request to join the Facepunch crew 2 days ago, woke up to get ready for work just now and checked Social Club to see I was invited (why didn't you just accept my join request in the first place). Go figure the group is at 1,000 members now and I can't join. I'mma keep the invite though in case someone leaves the crew. Someone should invite me to the 2nd or 3rd group though, that'd be sweet :v:
I love my Voltic, especially for when I need to head out in to Blaine County, it just handles so damn nicely on the dirt and off road compared to even many off roads.
Because you don't request to join, you request for an invite.
Oh. Well shit. Somebody please invite me to the next group then I guess :v:
I love my Voltic, especially for when I need to head out in to Blaine County, it just handles so damn nicely on the dirt and off road compared to even many off roads.
It's honestly my new favorite super, mostly because it's got a huge element of surprise to it in races and it makes an excellent getaway car. The fact it's not extremely overused like the Zentorno is cool too.
No... like... what is that car you all keep putting the FP logo on because I want to be a part of this.
Are you talking about this one? [t]http://img1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20140619192214/gtawiki/images/f/f7/BenefactorPanto-Front-GTAV.png[/t] If so, that's the Panto.
