Grand Theft Auto Series Megathread V5 - Weekly Threads - Games

I can't fix this problem!!! Since I upgraded from my gtx670 to a gtx970 the game crashes after about 30 mins of gameplay without reason. Frames are much higher even with more details, temps are fine, vram usage is fine, system ram usage is fine, clockspeeds are fine... Please help me :( EDIT: Also after the upgrade the game is always starting in windowed 800x600... It's like it wont save the resolution settings i choose... I always have to Alt+Enter EDIT2: Fixed the windowed startup problem. It was caused by my GPU overlay (Rivatuner)

This is because the spoiler update allowed the cars with petrol engines and spoilers to drop a lot of seconds in races, and overtake in terms of acceleration the Voltic. This means that, since the voltic has no turbo upgrade, it loses out to every other supercar and it's practically worthless in a race against skilled players. That said, if you're in a race with shitty drivers there's a good chance you will beat them in just about any super, including the Bullet, the worst supercar. I just like it for being a nice car, and a convertible none the less. I hate the races so not like I care which is fastest.

If i get GTA V on PC, which version do you recommend me? Retail or Steam?

It's a great thing to have for missions and freemode because of how nimble it is, and for a super it's surprisingly affordable (150k for hardtop) If you're going up against really seasoned players in a custom-enabled supers race, you're probably going to lose no matter what either of you picked, to be fair.

Every time I host a race, I set it to SUVs only, and enable custom vehicles because 9 chances out of 10, people don't realize that the Huntley S is the best SUV, plus, most players don't have a custom SUV in their garage.

Less likely to shoot you on sight and you can give them the money afterwards.

Same thing happened with the Adder.

GTA 5 ran perfectly for me on my r9 280x. After the second patch I first noticed much worse fps and today I crash everytime when loading story mode. Anyone else have the same?

God fucking damn it. Every time I try to complete the Pacific Bank heist, it fucking crashes at some point. Three times it has done it before we got to leave, once it did it when the job was starting, and just now it did it as we were escaping.

Can you share save files? I'm hoping someone has a story complete save for SP, I want to make videos but I've beaten the game twice now.

I especially hate that I crashed on that one because I did the entire thing with some random turkish host. Through all the shit we went through over several hours I'm the only one he consistently brought back. Hell, he was even going to give me 25% just for being the hacker until I told him to do a 20% split between the three of us. I'm gonna feel guilty about this one for a bit.

So I started to collect random cars and put them in my glitched Garage. All cars in that garage turn now into a Oracle XS. It kind of became a hobby since it costed me around 1 million and totaled my tuned cars except one. I wonder when rockstar fixes this.

It worked for me too and I can get into the game. But I still get stuttering when driving fast which wasn't there before.

So I was in a Humane Lab Raid Heist and I got myself a pretty good Pub which communicate with each other and stuff. There were only 3 of us and on the day of the Raid, this one guy which look like a cross between Niko and John Wick suddenly joined in. This guy, which joined on the last day and did nothing to help for the setup missions, demanded more of the cut and wouldn't click start unless the leader gave more. That wasn't the end of it too, while the 3 of us were driving to get the Valkyrie. The guy suddenly decided "Fuck it, I'm not driving that far." and wanted a helicopter pickup. A BIGGER CUT AND A HELICOPTER PICKUP FOR DOING ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. I was the pilot for the mission and the three of us were pretty pissed off by this point. So when we flew to where he wants us to pick him up, the three of us had this silent agreement and the three of us blew up his car. Which is a chrome Adder unsurprisingly.

Is there a key that lets me walk at a normal pace rather than jogging?
