Weirdly, I've found alt-tabbing and closing any open windows (especially Steam chat windows) brings it back to normal. Even alt-tabbing for 15-20 seconds makes a huge difference for me.

Everyone I see cant aim for shit im rank 28 and somehow my aim skills is at 95% already. I dont even have to aim to make headshots from cover I feel really overpowered somehow now.

I have a 970. I do agree FXAA seems to blur the image and I hardly notice a difference with TXAA on. Going to mess around with it when I get home.

Fucking display driver crashes abound. I've tried reinstalling drivers after a complete uninstall, changing various settings in the nvidia control panel, and even downclocking my graphics card. No dice.

fxaa is generally intended for small displays with worse graphics cards, as the effect is a lot nicer there

It's pretty fucked. The other day I was logging in, and while it was loading, I got both Steam Achievements and Rockstar Social Club achievements for being rank 50, and then rank 100.

I had the same issue, played on DX11 without any problems and suddenly it wouldn't start anymore.
The problem? I left singleplayer while it was raining. Changed to DX10, waited until it stopped raining, switched back to DX11 and guess what? No problems at all

Is there a video demo somewhere of it? Knowing my budget I'll probably never be able to see that.
Though even on normal, grass does have this kinda dispersing effect but not to really any fantastic degree. Only big shrubs seem to do it anyways.

Is flying a helicopter in Online offensive to people, or considered an act of hostility or something? Everyone feels the need to stop whatever they're doing and shoot at me when my helicopter isn't even armed, one dude went as far as to steal a jet just to shoot me down.

I generally found after my 2nd play through that the characters aren't as badly written as people make them out to be, honestly they're not badly written at all, there's such very little of them.

If you pay attention to all the dialogue in during car rides, cut scenes, side missions and hang outs you can really see the full picture more. The biggest problem with the characters is that there isn't enough of them, and they really could do with some expanding, especially Franklin.

In any case they are by far, BY FAR the best written heroes in the series, I mean compare it to Niko Bellic who is sad because he kills people and then he kills people, let alone pretty much any character in the 3d universe.

Generally I feel like GTA V feels more blockbuster-y and movie-y, which has its up and down sides. One of the down sides being that it seems Rockstar is neglecting the fact that all in all GTA V is a game, the main reason people want it is fun, and they seem to be keen on restricting it in an attempt to preserve the movie-like values, which in my opinion is complete bullshit and wasting potential fun to be had.

I was in a 1 on 1 race with a random and it was going so great - courteously giving each other racing room, side-by-side drag races on the straights, safe drafting distances. I was already planning to add him to my friends list. Last straight on the last lap before the finishing line, he side swipes me into a median and starts laughing through the mic. Has the douchiest avatar with the 'dock' winning animation. Calls me a faggot and drives off in an armoured Kuruma.
