Sealed deck game mode is quite fun. What do you think?
Kalonian Hydra gives me hope that I can build another monogreen deck once standard rotates. Right now almost my entire deck is from Innistrad block. This guy is beautiful. Already running experiment one, gyre sage, and deadbridge goliath, this'll complement all of those fellas quite well.
I look forward to fighting that in my friend's Vorel EDH deck :(

I definitely want to get my hands on a few when it comes out.
When doesn't Chandra get hate? Though It's possibly the most playable Chandra yet.
AWWWW YEAH DOOR OF DESTINIES REPRINT
I'm awful at this, I cant even win against this guy in the 2014 campaign who just summons these guys, and when theres 4 of them on the field, it automatically wins at the end phrase :I (plus he has cloning lol) I wish there was a way to get a deck builder helper for the 2014 decks, im complete shit at choosing myself.

I was unable to get lucky enough to beat it with the Mul Daya deck but wrecked it first try with the red deck because of all the burn spells. Just use the decks that can kill things effectively and go after the Biovisionary's. Here's a tip, you HAVE to have killed one or wiped the board before turn 6 in order to win. Otherwise, it's game over. Preferably, wait until he lands the enchantment on a Biovisionary which puts a copy out every turn and then kill it. The encounters are exactly the same every time so just learn the pattern and the exact moment of when to remove something from the battlefield.
That Mul Daya deck's really easy to win almost anything with with, khalni expedition, rampant growth, and then just toss out eldrazi and whatnot.

Fiend hunters and oblivion rings should help as well as path to exile. He normally goes Biomancer -> Biomancer -> Followed Footsteps -> Biomancer and if you get rid of any to the grace, he brings one back.
What is the best Zombie EDH deck in your opinion? I'm thinking about Balthor The Defiled or maybe Grimgrin.

(like, what cards to get, which ones to avoid) sorry im asking so much :v: I just suck so bad at deck building.

Doomed travellers are great, as you can hit most of the other decks with the spirit after he dies since barely any of them have flying. Your angels are key too, they will be the backbone of the deck, as they will clash with the big cards of other decks. Keep in removal, and avoid cards that give you life (unnecessary since you want fateful hour to proc if you are losing anyway).

Grimgrin actually interacts very well with Thrax.

the Chant of Mul Daya deck in 2014 is so fun

EDIT: I suck at flavour texts.
Do you guys think people should make other-coloured versions of Nightmare? -snip-
Debt Horse would be broken OP in pretty much any setting where there's any decent mana accel Same with Rider of Forb. Otherwise, they look cool, but I doubt they'd see much use In other news, almost finished my rainbow slivers EDH deck, just waiting on my overlord and harmonic and it's done Though I'm kinda stuck as to where I want to use legion or overlord as my general, and it's basically a fight between utility or sheer ridiculous power
Chromesteed sounds OP, 3 mana 8/8 if you have the 3 other artifacts you need and it is an artifact itself.
Prerelease was fun, as everyone had seemed to have thought green and blue were really big power houses. I ended up going 3-1 and pulled a garruk in one of the packs I won so I'm happy
I ran a black green ramp deck which focused on Garruk's Horde, Nightmare, and Woodland Behemoth. Also, Enlarge which is just insane. My favorite card out of the set was Tenacious Dead. I'm a sucker for high value, one drop black cards. I pulled a Chandra out of my prize support.

It didn't work too well since it just wasn't strong enough, so I swapped the black in my deck with white and it won me all the next games since I had an imposing sovereign and those 2/2 vigilance slivers that could do some good damage throughout the game
I only got junk rares out of my prerelease, but still fared pretty well, went 4-1 and came second. Had to run W/U/G, but wasn't too bad, lots of flying and slivers. We got our complimentary boosters for competing, and I got an Archangel of Thune out of it, so I was pretty happy after that.
Also, Haunted Plate Mail did win me a game. It was insanely powerful under the circumstances because it can dodge all sorcery speed removal if you just don't activate it. I can see a pox style deck utilizing it.

Hey guys just tried my hand at building a deck free hand without looking at any other for inspiration. Was wondering if you guys would be willing to give me some C&C on this bad boy. It's a myr deck and I'm pretty sure it's just your average one but I do think improvements could be made. http://magic.tcgplayer.com/db/deck.asp?deck_id=1144391
Haaaahahahaha, I bought an M14 fatpack and I pulled a Liliana, an Ajani, a Chandra, and a Rise of the Dark Realms. FOUR MYTHICS, NINE PACKS.

Possibly a card that makes target player draw x cards since it can deck someone out and be used to draw cards if you need to [editline]28th July 2013[/editline]
Haaaahahahaha, I bought an M14 fatpack and I pulled a Liliana, an Ajani, a Chandra, and a Rise of the Dark Realms. I suggest running some mana dorks so you have something to do on turn 1. Or maybe Sol Ring, perhaps? A Palladium Myr on turn 2 is no joke. I would also look at the number of copies you have of some cards. For example, running 4 Myr Propagators can set you up for some shitty opening hands if you get more than 1. I would drop that number to 2 or maybe 3 at the most.
