Man, as soon as I get this my friend's gonna come over and we're just gonna play through it nonstop. I'm so excited.

I came home an hour ago and was surprised to find the game in the mailbox. And no work tomorrow, couldn't have been any better.

I feel like I should've bought the regular edition, it just looks cheap with the cloth it comes in, and a few pages fell out as I opened the art book. Also the cardboard box that it comes in looked like shit due to the way it was packaged during shipping. Anyway, it doesn't really matter. And it doesn't change the fact that the game is fucking awesome.

EEEEE. Less than 24 hours from now I'll be playing. Is this real life? This doesn't feel like real life. I can't believe this is really happening.

I bought mine today, in Sweden at Gamestop. I paid 190 sek ($30). They had a promotion where if you trade in a game you get the game for 1 kr which is basically 15 cents. So I looked at the list and found the PS Vita game Little Big Planet, which costs 189 sek. I bought it, traded it in and got the The Last of Us for 190 kr. :v:

Seems like I made a worthwhile decision as well.

I have a feeling today is going to be the longest day of my life, knowing that tomorrow I will wake up at about 5AM, pound back a pot of coffee and wait anxiously until 830AM, when I can run to the mall and EBGames will be open at 9. I'll run in there shaking in excitement, get my game and book it home as fast as I can to play. Then I'll post pictures on every social network I use, I'll annoy all of my "friends" with it, and I'll stop posting for about 19 hours or more because I'll be playing non-stop. Then I'll wake up Saturday morning for work, and then THAT will be the longest day of my life, knowing I have Sunday off and have to work for 9 hours before I can go play again. Sometimes I miss unemployment so much.

got it today, a few small things that annoyed me such as a path that is only wide enough for one person and Ellie gets in front of me and have to keep bumping into her repeatedly to make her move so I could progress and one cutscene glitched out. Gameplay etc is all good, better than I was expecting. Shame the framerate isn't smooth though (my biggest flaw with the game so far). the pacing is nice too.

I think theres a very VERY subtle reference to the walking dead game in the game... [sp]After you meet up with Bill and youre making your way through the town to look for car parts/reach the school, you cross over an RV into a Treehouse then into the back door of a house, the entire layout of the ground floor, the kitchen and back room/study looks like the house you meet Chlem in, I mean there's the treehouse and everything[/sp]

I am in UTC +1 timezone and I just started downloading.

My game still hasn't shipped from Amazon. It's been stuck at "Shipping Now" for over 12 hours.

My gamestop closes in an hour, I still have the chance to go back, refund my pre-order, and buy $60 in pre-paid PSN cards to buy TLoU on PSN and download it at midnight. Should I? I've slept most of the day so I'll probably be up all night anyway.
