Oh god the part where [sp]Ellie takes Bill's gay porn magazine and she's fucking with Joel about the pages being sticky[/sp] laughed my ass off
why do devs make me get attached to video game characters
My PS3 crashed when I was at winter, was going to do the whole thing at once because of the save glitch. Then it crashed. Now I'm back at the third chapter and have lost about 8 hours of gametime.
I'm done.
When I seen your last post I figured something like this would end up happening.

Was afraid of it as well. Oh well, I'm dumping my ps3 at my friend, he'll have the honor of getting me back.
What the actual fuck!? I played to where [sp]Joel meets his bother Tommy[/sp], and now when i started the game again, it didn't fucking save anything besides from the beginning. ><

Sorry
Spoiler tag that shit son!
Okay, the game is essentially unplayable now so I don't think I'm going to be finishing it until I get the motivation to start from the very beginning. I'm at a part in the Goldstone Building where I've dropped down a floor, but Tess & Ellie are nowhere. They've literally just disappeared completely. On the floor I'm on alone, there are 8+ infected which come running after you no matter how stealthly or quietly you try to kill them. The only way out is a door being blocked by a big dresser, which of course I can't pull and move without the infected knocking me to the ground.

There was a problem yesterday with autosaving, but they've fixed it now. A lot of people lost a lot of progress.

They don't follow you down, you have to clear it out yourself.
If I'm remembering correctly, they don't all run at you if you're stealthy enough.
It took me a while to do myself, it's tough as fuck but not impossible.
I can't even get to the first infected without him turning around immediately. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong. I slowly go up behind the first enemy without doing anything and I get about halfway there before alarm is raised.

Simply crouching isn't enough in this for enemies to not hear you. You also have to push lightly on your stick to move slower.
Maybe I'm too fucking stupid for this game, but how do I get through the door if every time I move the filing cabinet, it just slams against the wall again? Why can't Joel pull things forward or backward instead of just left and right?

automerge broken sorry

Did you clear the enemies out? You need Ellie and Tess with you.

You need to clear the area.
Dammit PieClock!
Amazing. I thought this game was really well polished but now I'm stuck hunched over in the inventory position, can't move, can't select a weapon, can't attack, can't do anything. Looks like I'm going to have to do this whole section over again because my game glitched.
Wait till you see the battery in his PS controller has run out or something.
hahahahaha yeah dude because i can look around and everything and pause the game to re-load it but i can't play the game because my controller is dead. take a look at my game and you tell me if my controller is dead

i hate how people who complete a game successfully can't seem to fathom the idea of bugs or glitches in it

I'm almost certain he was joking.
Not only that but I can't blame him for being skeptical considering you were saying the game was essentially broken when you couldn't progress that area.

Chill out jesus.
It was a joke because you were seeming to have problem after problem, which ended up to be your fault.
i'm just really excited to play the game after seeing it at E3 a full year ago and now i have to re-do the last couple hours of playing :(
Why do you need to do the last couple of hours? It's not like you got the now fixed autosave glitch.
Just click Restart Encounter, that area isn't hard at all.
Oh, lordy [sp]that Bloater kill animation. The way you see your jaw split before it shoots to black. That shit was nasty. [/sp]
Fuck. I got the autosave glitch. I got to the part where you meet Henry, kept playing for about an hour and went to bed. I wake up and see "Continue: Prologue"
At least the multiplayer is able to calm me down.
The soundtrack for this game is great.
Don't buy it just for The Last of Us
Buy it for Twisted Metal, Resistance 1/2/3, Killzone 2/3, Ratchet and Clank, Uncharted 1/2/3, Metal Gear Solid 4, Dust514, Yakuza 3/4, Demon's Souls, inFamous 1/2, Motorstorm Apocalypse, Journey, Beyond Two Souls, God of War 3/Ascension, Heavenly Sword, Siren, The Last Guardian (lol). Warhawk, MAG, Way of the Samurai 4
Not to mention the HD remasters of things like Ico/Shadow of the Colossus, Kingdom Hearts, Devil May Cry 1/2/3, God of War 1/2, Prince of Persia trilogy, Sly Cooper 1/2, Tekken Tag Tournament, Tomb Raider, Splinter Cell/Pandora Tomorrow/Chaos Theory.
When you put it that way, it's much more valuable, even with the PS4 right around the corner.
Okay!
Whoops, pageking. Here's some content.

Its official, Stalkers are the scariest infected.
I'm not interested in multiplayer or playing through again (one time was enough for me, I want to remember that playthrough forever)... What do I do now :v:
I don't really understand this mentality.
I don't really understand this mentality.
Me neither. I've only been forced to resell games when I wasn't working and desperate to play new titles.
Sure, your first play through will always be your most memorable, but if's a game good; I always wind up playing through it again after beating the game. For me, it's usually the hallmark of a great game when you want to keep on playing after reaching the end and discovering what you missed the first time around. Resident Evil 4 and Bioshock Infinite were games I just couldn't stop playing when I reached the end. I have a feeling Last of Us will join this list of games.
Also, MadBomber, you have to give the multiplayer a try if you haven't resold your game yet. It's pretty fun and stays true to the mechanics of the single player (many elements carry over).
I want to play this so bad, gonna have to wait until the end of the month to buy it.
I'd understand if he didn't want to play the story again, because lets face it, a lot of the fun comes from the story and the want to know whats next. Not checking out MP is madness though, it's really good.
