There are many definitions of zombies, I really like the 28 days one a lot. It is far more intense than those slow chambeling zombies.

Dawn Of The Dead 2004 or was it 2002 version had fast zombies. Shaun Of The Dead, Walking Dead and pretty much all "-of the dead" movies had slow zombies. 28 Days/Weeks Later infected did not die at any point. Left 4 Dead infected did not die at any point (as far as we know, the characters just call them zombies because hurp stereotypes) Left 4 Dead infected too aren't zombies, they're just called zombies. Technically they're infected.
