It's hard to know when there's no reference to the 1st time she showed the infected area.
Here is a picture of [sp]Ellie's arm at the end. Doesn't it look more infected to you? I might just kill myself if that's the case.[/sp] Spoilers: http://i.imgur.com/n25N25r.png
Looks the same to me.

[sp]That may be the reason why a sequel wouldn't include Joel and Ellie.[/sp]
I know, and while it's better this way, it's still immersion breaking and one of the two incredibly minor reasons why I can't 10/10 this, though I'd absolutely love to. Still the best game I've ever played.
If you're not going to rate anything a 10/10 then you may aswell you a 1-9 scale. 10 doesn't mean flawless, it means it's as good as you could expect it to be, that there's no real way to improve it. By making a 10 impossible to get you make it meaningless, which makes your entire scale lose meaning with it. [editline]19th June 2013[/editline] [sp]Ellie's bite doesn't change, it always had those growths on it, that's the cordyceps fungus. You know, because she's infected. She's just immune to it spreading into her brain so it sits dormant in her arm.[/sp]
Well. I guess I was wrong. It's the same.

Furthermore I think they would have made it more apparent if this was the case.[/sp]

It's around 1:16:11. Somehow YouTube limits me to 480p so I can not get a clear image. Can you try?
The thread OP is kinda fucked since endorphinsam is perma'd.

I just hate seeing people say "No game is a 10, 10 means it's perfect". Which is just stupid.
@RautaPalli [sp]You mean the part where all four of you get separated and you get put with Sam? Ha-ha I didn't even stealth much at that point, stealth killed one or two but mostly just shot them all with the Shorty.[/sp]
[sp]Yeah I just ended up killing all of them now, it was much easier than I though it'd be. Has anyone managed to do that parth stealthily?[/sp]
This game worked fine for the last 11 hours but for some reason now the loading times are taking about 5 minutes and every now and then it just breaks, keep going into T-pose and being unable to move or the world not being rendered ... ):

How many chapters were there in the game, in all?
Could always try deleting the game data and reinstalling it, and hope its not your save that is causing the problems.
I created a new save from the same chapter and it's doing the same thing unfortunately, I'm not sure if the disc is damaged or not
Calling all multiplayers players, add me for a few games later tonight? Be fun to get a group going :) CommanderChip
I'll add you, I'm ahully. How many survivors has everyone got? I currently got 60, all healthy.
You can add me, too. My profile should be over there <-- I don't have a microphone though, because I just recently got a PS3
Yesterday I got to about 45 survivors, but turns out that everyone became a fucking pro in that game over night and now I'm fucked.
Calling all multiplayers players, add me for a few games later tonight? Be fun to get a group going :) CommanderChip
I'll add you. Are we gonna party up or just do a private game?
I can't stop thinking about this game, like seriously, it's becoming annoying :p .
So they made it pretty clear that at the very last stage of the infection, the infected start growing on the environment. But when [sp]Joel and Tess first encounter spores they come across the source and Tess says something like "this guy's not old", which obviously contradicts that.[/sp] Anyone got an explanation?

Really feeling like i've never felt before after finishing this game days ago. Can't really explain. This game had a serious impact on me, it was that good. Might be my favourite game ever maybe.

So I got to the Obligatory Sewer Level and as I was walking along I saw a small hole with water flowing out of it, just a bit of scenery and I thought "I bet I can fit in there". So I walked on up and lo and behold I could totally fit, and there was a little dialogue and some parts and a Firefly pendant in there. Now I'm wondering what other little nooks I missed through the game. Also Survivor difficulty is a bitch, I swear enemies are slightly more perceptive.

I'm going to replay it sometime soon to try to find as much as possible, because I am absolutely certain that I've missed a ton.
Right, fuck it. Time to finish the campaign again, but in Survivor this time.
Question: Does the standard box come with an Online Pass included, or do I have to buy one separately? [editline]19th June 2013[/editline] I'm asking because I bought a physical copy, and I remember emptying out a bunch of papers. One of them might've been the online pass, but I want to know if it's possible before I spend time looking for where I dumped them. [editline]19th June 2014[/editline]
All new copies should come with an online pass. Mine was in a flimsy leaflet with the game's cover art with ONLINE PASS written on it. The code is on the back
Well shit, I guess that means I lost it. Maybe threw it away. Time to go trash digging.
