Imho The Last Of Us, although good, is not a survival horror but moreso a survival action FPS game.
Finally finished the game, took me 16 hours and 50 minutes on hard. I explored pretty much every nook and cranny though. Or at least I thought I did, but I still didn't get any of the collectible trophies :v:. Missed one firefly pendant, not sure about how many comics I missed.

I formatted it and reset it all to system defaults and I now have to start over .. Something which I am okay with because this game is insanely good
It seems that Survival is way better MP mode, because everyone isn't running around guns blazing through the matches. Gotta keep a low profile.
Just finished the game. Amazing. I want more.
So glad [sp]Joel didn't let Ellie die. I wouldn't be able to forgive him, she's far too loveable. It would make replaying the game a painful experience. Plus it's so rewarding to see how close Joel becomes with her. Also slightly unnerving that he's clearly trying to mould her into his daughter in his mind.[/sp].
I want a sequel with the same characters so bad.

[sp]Ellie would never do that. They both look at each other as family, or as Joel said "a reason to survive." Even though Ellie quite clearly saw through Joel's lie at the end, she's willing enough to accept it and even take comfort in it.[/sp]
[sp]I dont think Joel was too violent at any point, he was angry, and gentle to Ellie. He also made a "shocked" breath when he shot Marlene. The fireflies were doing it for power. They'd probably only give it to people who "joined their cause". And I felt Ellie didnt want to die for a potential cure or vaccine, as everyone except Tommy basicly wanted her dead.[/sp]
God damn Survivors mode is annoying. Every game I've played half my team were fucking morons and decided camping a choke point was a good idea. Then 4 guys come up behind these idiots and they get wiped out.
Fuck me, I had 72 healthy clan members, then I get cut out of a match because my internet dropped and now I have 36 hungry and 16 sick...

That's why you let your team die and just go ham with all the extra shit you get as last man. Nothings more satisfying than going all guerrilla warfare laying down bombs and chopping people into kibble with your machete.
So in MP people don't die from a burst or a shorty shot twice in close range, yet I go down from 2 pistol shots...
