If you can, put pills into shiv master. It really helps in that part on survivor.

I managed it on survivor by using my last 5-6 shells/bullets combined on the [sp]stalkers when you get the keycard then i did the generator part stealthily by sneaking up to hte second floor, bloater almost spotted me twice but managed to distract it with conveniently placed bottles
all my panic[/sp]

This game is just so good
Just finished this game, lived up to the hype. I think winter was my favorite part of the whole game though, it just looked so good.
Alright. I wanted to give an update on my last post in this thread.
I didn't actually buy a PS3. I was given an original 60gb with a yellow light of death. I ordered a heatgun, which arrived on Thursday, and attempted to reflow the motherboard no less than four times.
The end result?

Go to where you save your game and hover over your save data. That will show your percentage of how far you in the story.

On my second playthrough, and I'm still wondering if there are different endings, mainly because of [sp]Joel saving Ellie, killing Marlene, and lying to Ellie just so she wouldn't die in order for there to be a possible vaccine[/sp]. I honestly don't know who or what is right or wrong in this game. I mean, I kinda do know, but still, it's a headache. Also, I have a pit in my gut yelling out to me that [sp]Ellie knows deep down inside that Joel lied to her about all of those other "immune" people.[/sp]

Finally got to try this game at a friend's house and holy crap what little I played was awesome. Graphics are surprisingly good too.
Now i just need to get my PS3 back from my sister's boyfriend.
Completed the game with normal difficulty.
It was one of the best games I've played in years, gameplay-wise and story-wise.
Now I'll take a break and after that I think I'll complete it with hard difficulty.
I also cried at the part where [sp]they saw the giraffe and went to pet it, something about the scenery and atmosphere was just so beautiful. Same with the end where Joel carries Ellie away from the hospital.[/sp]
Guys, how do I do the part on the street with the sniper? I have zero supplies and no medkits. If I go left I get swarmed by thugs, and die due to no ammo. If I go right I can take out the one guy in the house, but as soon as I leave I get peppered by the sniper.

died like 60 times
Through first playthrough on Medium, I'm quite proud to say that I didn't die, or let any of my friends die at all. First time I've ever really (not knowingly) beat a game without dying a mass amount of times.

I'm kind of disappointed they removed some of the smaller features like crouch sprinting or instead of finding ammo boxes, you just emptied the ammo in weapons dropped by enemies.
And did anyone else have trouble finding tape after crossing the bridge? For the rest of the game tape was a fucking valuable resource, I remember because I was all scavenging looking in particular for it.
I have 6 people with the same avatar as me, the Joel Winter avatar from the Sights and Sounds pack.
I watched the whole walkthrough. Reminds me of I Am Alive which was awesome too though I know not many liked that game but few elements were pretty neat.
What's more exciting about this game is hat the environments have little to no repetition. And then the good acting and cutscenes.
