Dunno if anyone still cares about this, but as expected the internet was wrong and made something into nothing:

[sp]There's a certain point in that section where you get mobbed by runners no matter what. Once they show up, just fight them off.[/sp]
[sp]When Joel finds Ellie after she runs away, his response makes me feel like he didn't give two fucks about her, then when they reach their destination on horseback with his brother he all the sudden has a change of heart. That part seemed weird to me..[/sp]
[sp]if you look during the cutscenes you can tell he wants to tell ellie sorry but he can't
you can see him hesitating as he starts to fall behind[/sp]

Really wish this game had better matchmaking. It's no fun when you go up against level 32s, when everyone on your team is low. Right now, it's 0-0-3-0 against 32-28-13-10, and we don't stand a chance. It's really annoying.
Damn it all. I just finished on NG+. I want to play on Hard (or even Survivor), but I'm worried I'll get sick of the game if I play it too much.
Also, [sp]I thought those "hints" towards other immunes was just a lie that Joel told to Ellie.[/sp]
im on my first playthrough and im playing on survival, did you really just play twice on normal?
im on my first playthrough and im playing on survival, did you really just play twice on normal?
everybody sell your ps3's
ok so the game is 60$ on the psn does this include an online pass or not?
It's included.
Just some awesome multiplayer matches thanks to a few guys I met. Our shenanigans included messing with the last man standing by throwing a fuck load of smoke bombs at him. Man I wish someone had recorded that.
im on my first playthrough and im playing on survival, did you really just play twice on normal?
The funny thing is, during your first playthrough the highest difficulty you can go to is hard. I know this because I wanted to play on the hardest difficulty. Plus its the same thing in the Uncharted.

He must have hacked his PS3 like a pro.
He must have hacked his PS3 like a pro.
Oh man too pro for me. He might hack my account just for saying this.
im on my first playthrough and im playing on survival, did you really just play twice on normal?
You made yourself look like a massive moron for saying that because you can't play Survival difficulty until you beat the game the first time...
So, what do you guys recommend? Should I just go to Hard, or will it still be too easy after having played the game twice?

Depending on how good you are at stealth. On hard mode you have limited ammounts of ammo and you might want to save it for forced fire fights. Pratice with the bow and arrow for a while(Trust me it saved me a shit ton of shivs).
If you've played the game twice already just jump on survivor.
Or just do this.
If you've played the game twice already just jump on survivor.
I was just replaying the game now, when I was
[sp]getting free from that fridge trap and hugged by infected, that infected just became automatically decapitated and died. After that Joel just said 'What'. I mean, Bill was invisible, so I was like guided by ghost, who even opened a door for me.[/sp]

And upgrade the bow. Charge time especially since you're going to want to head shot the clickers as fast as possible while they keep still.

The only thing you should upgrade on the bow is the range honestly, makes it easier to use at all ranges. The draw and reload times are consequential, you'll spend most of the time stationary tracking a target before finally making the decision to release the arrow.
Another good tip for Survivor is upgrade the Hunting Rifle's power, clip size and penetration stats. It possibly becomes the most useful asset in your inventory, the ability to do VERY good damage over long ranges accurately is perfect since you're going to be spending much time behind cover. Also makes armored enemies a lot easier, although it really isn't as good in close quarters, but it makes pretty short work of Bloaters.

Upgrading charge speed makes the bow much more versatile, allowing you to conserve ammo for your firearms.
[sp]Also you only have to fight one bloater and at that point you wont have the tools or parts to upgrade the rifle to where you'd want it. You also will have very little ammo for the rifle unless you've been deliberately saving it.[/sp]
I still haven't heard Joel sing for Ellie :(

I demand a Joel singing DLC.
Can someone explain to me exactly how the multiplayer metagame works? Is there a point to it?
So I've played through this game twice now.
Now I'm watching a let's play. What is happening

Bioshock Infinite sucked up all my time too. I played it twice, and then i must have watched like 5 lets plays on it.

You basically need to feed your survivors with supplies, which you earn from playing a match in-game. Every match in-game is considered a day. Some in-game days will task you with missions which if you fail you can lose survivors. Quitting out of a game, or not collecting enough supplies during a match will make some of your survivors go hungry and eventually die unless you feed them. If all your survivors die you start at week 1 again.
Things like supplies, survivor population, and the length of time you've kept your survivors go towards helping you earn unlocks. That's pretty much it.
So I'm finally done, and I fucking loved every minute of it.
I've never played a game that immersed me enough to were I had the option to run, but never wanted too.
Time for another play through!
I finished this game twice since I started playing it 3 days ago.
The second time was yesterday where I finished it start to end in one sitting.
My god this game is great.
Wow.
