Guys, help me out, i have this game, i beat it, and i need to convince my dad to play it edit: i have it on the main menu and oh god i'm going to cry, this music man
Is it me, or does the bow suck out right in multiplayer compared to just using silenced weapons.
i think the bow's good lol i put down 3 guys in a row with it because there's no recoil and it pulls so fast
Is it me, or does the bow suck out right in multiplayer compared to just using silenced weapons.
The bow is amazing and you are wrong
The funny thing is, during your first playthrough the highest difficulty you can go to is hard. I know this because I wanted to play on the hardest difficulty. Plus its the same thing in the Uncharted.

You made yourself look like a massive moron for saying that because you can't play Survival difficulty until you beat the game the first time...
My brother beat it first, thought someone would bring that up. When I first played MP I had no idea what listen mode was :v:
The bow is amazing and you are wrong
I actually found it more useful in close encounters (in multiplayer at least) than as a silent sniper.
i think the bow's good lol i put down 3 guys in a row with it because there's no recoil and it pulls so fast
And that's why it sucks for the victim. You can't even tell if the guy's shooting you and you instantly die.

Maybe that'll hook him.

the best part of the last of us was watching the characters grow
I watched some of Pewdiepie's Let's Plays of this game just to see how terrible they were. It's pretty obvious that he has played the game before. Makes me wonder if he actually played the game seriously before he decided to act like a retard for the LPs.
Maybe he didn't want a repeat of The Walking Dead final episode. After watching 2BFP that one I got recommended Pewdiepie's LP of it so I watched the end. I do believe those were actual tears, which his probably something he doesn't want his fans to see. Also [sp]I can't wait to see what their reaction is to the Summer ending. Unfortunately that's like 10 episodes away and they release Deadly Premonition videos every other day.[/sp]
I watched the three hour Last of Us story video before purchasing the game for some reason. Actually, I haven't bought the game yet, but I will.
[sp]When Joel finds Ellie after she runs away, his response makes me feel like he didn't give two fucks about her, then when they reach their destination on horseback with his brother he all the sudden has a change of heart. That part seemed weird to me..[/sp]
[sp]I think that's why the scene of them riding back was so long, so he could mill on it and what not. But I kind of agree, didn't seem as organic as the rest of the game[/sp]

Why are you guys even watching PewDiePie, like, at all?
Why are you guys even watching PewDiePie, like, at all?
Morbid curiosity and masochism.
Is it me, or does the bow suck out right in multiplayer compared to just using silenced weapons.
Like everything in TLoU MP, once you get used to it, you'll be kicking ass in no time. I remember being put up against a team of people who only used their bows for all 4 rounds. Needless to say, my team got its ass destroyed.
Can't wait for like a CTF mode or whatever. I think it would be cool if Supply Raid and Survivor were shifted to modifiers once more game modes come around, I mean they're already just two minor variations on TDM. Being able to choose survivor/raid CTF or survivor/raid KOTH or something would be pretty sweet.

I'd much prefer the DLC to be some kind of cooperative gamemode like Horde Mode or some short Spec Ops length missions.
I think the MP is as good as it can get for competitive. I mean, you can't really capture emotion or whatever in it, and it does the scavenging thing as good as possible. Also, for some reason, either I'm really good (lol no) or I've never had a problem with my teammates. I'm on Week 2 and a couple days, and I believe my team has only lost twice. However, the way the game handles quitting a match gets me butthurt. My connection died on me for a second, so for some reason the game feels like that justifies making half of my population sick... great.
Is the only way to get sick survivors to ragequit/crash during a match?
I know this is late, but when Joel and Ellie are looking at the Dawn of the Wolf movie poster and conversing: Joel: "I saw this, right before the outbreak." Ellie: "Does he totally gut her by the end?" Joel: "Nobody gets gutted. It's a dumb teen movie." Ellie: "Who dragged you to see it, then?" Joel: "*sigh* I don't know." I, just now, figured out what he meant when he said "I don't know" and I got a little sad. [sp]Sarah dragged him to watch it.[/sp] Can't believe I didn't notice this at first. Man this game is depressing.
pretty much most of the times he instantly cuts conversation it's about sarah
God...this game...the feels... [sp] When Joel holds Ellie and calls her baby girl...I burst into tears...I fully admit that with no shame[/sp] If this game doesn't emotionally invest you in any way, I'm convinced you have no soul

Yes, the story was fantastic and I felt bad at some points, but I didn't get too involved because I was nowhere there. It was Joel and Ellie only. However some other games like TWD invest you way more. There I cried.
My brother beat it first, thought someone would bring that up. When I first played MP I had no idea what listen mode was :v:
Well this makes more sense.

Don't get me wrong that game made me cry too...but TLOU gut punched me more frequently. TWD hit hardest for me only at it's ending (that said...I was depressed for a week after the last act of that game). As an aside: thank you for giving valid reasoning by the way. I've seen so many shit posts all over the web for this game as of late I was fully expecting the first person to quote me saying something...well..shit. I'd say you have a soul.

Aw man this game is long (for me at least). Either that or I'm just enjoying this game so damn much it feels like it's long. When I thought I was at the end [sp]with the mirror building[/sp] it just continued on.
