The neat thing about the two maps is that they're NPC based. For example, Lincoln has infected, Pittsburgh has bandits. (I'm not sure if they're actually the only NPCs of the towns.)

I don't normally -ever- buy $60 games but I'm definitely getting this the day it comes out. It just looks too good to pass up.

You think that's a high price? Try amazon.de: 69.99€
And then you even have to pay 5€ extra for special shipping cause it's rated 'adults only' and the mailman has to make sure that an adult receives the package and not a kid. Makes perfect sense for ignorant parents who buy this game for their 11-year-old kid.
That makes in total 75€ and that's roughtly 95-100$.
But then since I have a credit card I can also order on amazon.co.uk, there the game costs significantly less and I don't have to pay the extra shipping fee. Thus taking it to a price that's almost the same as yours.
tl;dr:
God save the queen.
That gameplay was awesome. I really hope I can scrap the money together for a new PS3 and the game itself before release.
I really hope you can turn all of those hints and tutorials off, and the waypoints.. and the listen mode.

I have extremely high hopes for this game, hoping to not be disappointing. Who is getting the Survival edition?

These figures were sculpted to show wear and tear. I think they did pretty good. The problem is the paint job.

Definitely. The demo is short and sweet; it spoils nothing of the story but it gives you a taste for the mechanics and they're top notch. The melee combat is fluid and brutal, the crafting system works great, the atmosphere is engrossing, and it's actually challenging. I died 5 times on Normal before I figured out how to properly handle even a small encounter with a few Runners and one Clicker.
Definitely excited for the 14th.
looks okay from the video, some questionable looking textures here and there.
Gameplay looks fine but could see myself getting sick of it depending on how long the game is unless something happens later on in the plot and forces things to change slightly.
Only thing i noticed so far is in the new demo released when you strangle someone its zoomed out far not like it is in the videos in op, where its really close and you can see all the details in Joel's face as he takes the enemies out from behind, and in the demo you just pick up ammo off the floor you don't take it out of the revolver anymore like he does in one of the videos.
Let's hope the MP is good and we can all get a game going

Anddddd I managed to order Last of Us for £1.30 odd :v: Thanks to a glitch ages ago they didn't correct for me, I had to add £5 minimum because I had £38.70 in psn balance :v:
God I love games with rain in them, it makes the world seem so much more alive.

Edit: Also, here's some info about the game. It is a rather long game. Depending how you play, and on the difficulty, it can easily take 20 hours to complete. I also have some info about MP, but I can't really talk about that.
