I just played my first few multiplayer matches to see what it's like.
I don't know about you guys but that was the most fun I had in multiplayer since COD4.
EDIT: I also love how there's that feeling of trust between you and your teammates, whether you played a few matches with them or they just joined.
Haven't have that "trust" aspect to a multiplayer game for a looong time.

Yeah the multiplayer is so different to anything I've played before. I'm loving it so much.
Finally got a decent medic class for multiplayer (you pull in ridiculous amounts of points)...
...now only if I had anyone to play with :v:

Regarding some of the special zombies, [sp] Can the bloaters be killed by shooting the glowing parts on them? (Ala regenerators in RE:4)? I wasn't sure if I simply killed him normally or if that did the trick.[/sp]

I think you're better off aiming for the head.

I just aimed for the legs. Bigger targets, which causes the Bloater to stagger. Unfortunately, it makes him stumble towards you faster. So keep your distance.
I molotov bloaters, flamethrower bloaters, anything that involves fire and a bloater burning. Better IMO to waste ammo on other infected than on a single bloater.

I tried running a medic class but I'd like to see what others have built too
If anyone wanna play some MP (pref near the EU), shoot me a message: FuzzyK45.
I'll be able to voice chat, seeing as I found out that my USB headset works on the PS3. :v:

It's exactly what you'd expect, Reviver, First Aid Training and Marathon Runner. You can really only afford a 9mm or a Revolver, so it's usually best to keep close to allies and keep your head down. Also a good idea to keep a smoke grenade handy for covering yourself when reviving teammates. I swap out the perk tiers depending on playstyle but First Aid Training 2 is essential.
Where was that comparison picture of when [sp]Ellie first showed her bite to Joel and Tess, and when she was looking at it at the ending?[/sp]
Here it is: www.imgur.com/3HFJ2jt.jpg
We settled on this:
[sp]Ellie's bite doesn't change, it always had those growths on it, that's the cordyceps fungus. You know, because she's infected. She's just immune to it spreading into her brain so it sits dormant in her arm.[/sp]
Just finished this game on survival. This could have been the hardest game I have played in a while.
[sp]It was so hard I had to sneak by everyone in the final area. But the last hallway of course.[/sp]

Sent you an invite.
Accepted it now, Starship.
Anyone else up for some MP?

I am when I'm online. Anyone else feel free to add me as well, "JackKluge".
I'm stuck in the sewers with the little black kid... on the hardest difficulty, well the one that you can start with anyway, the infected just seem to know where I am when i'm behind a wall...

[sp]But at the end of the game they say they need to remove the mutated cordyceps from her brain?[/sp]
Me and Darkrei9n are playing at the moment, if anyone wants to join just add me, FuzzyK45.
We're also on skype, if anyone wants to join that.
Great game, I had so much fun playing this. I finished this game in two days, I wasn't going to stop till I had seen the ending. Now that I have finished it I can't stop thinking about it. I just love the characters and story so much. X3
My Review:
9/10
The only reason I didn't say 10/10 was because I had experienced a few glitches here and there. There were about two big glitches (For me) that I could not ignore. They both consisted of the map not being properly loaded. One room loaded completely, I walk into another and it was just nothing but white and only a few pieces of the room had loaded. Same with the other glitch. There were a few little glitches like trash cans and bottles being stuck in the ground, but that's nothing major. ^^ Besides the glitches, the game its self was amazing. I loved the characters, the dialogue was well spoken, and the sounds were off the charts. The graphics were absolutely beautiful. I gained such a deep liking for the characters that after I finished playing I kinda felt I had lost two best friends. This game is definitely a game that I would play over and over again. The prologue by itself can suck you in, I cried when Sarah died and that was just 10 to 15 mins within the game.

[sp]They said they would have to do that to try and make it into a vaccine. If they did that, then there would be nothing making her immune, so she would be infected.[/sp]
Yeah, I kept getting loading bugs, some props weren't even loading when I entered some levels.
Accepted it now, Starship.
Anyone else up for some MP?
I'm always up for some MP whenever I'm online
Just beat the game. It was incredible.
I'm always up for some MP whenever I'm online
I'd come play but considering you guys are all in North America/Europe it means I'm gonna be hell-a laggy which isn't fun.
[sp]If you would've explored more you'd find she wasn't the only one of her "kind" and that that they tested on more immune people and it didn't work. It would never create a cure, just a vaccine they could give to their own people (the fireflies).
The world is already 60% or more dead. Noticed how Marlene (or whatever its spelled) begger for her life at the end? She never cared about Ellie dying or not seeing as she has no issues with surviving herself while Ellie and the small chance for a vaccine is driving off, she earlier said that its not about her or joel but "mankind". It's bullshit, she never cared. [/sp]
[sp]I never noticed that, shit that changes it all. I guess I never thought it thoroughly but that makes more sense. My friend was playing so I never noticed that.[/sp]
I didn't hear most of these since I guess you have to clear out areas.
[sp]But at the end of the game they say they need to remove the mutated cordyceps from her brain?[/sp]
[sp] To study it and hopefully come up with a vaccine, removing it might kill her, which is what Joel prevents [/sp]
I think.
the carbine in multiplayer is annoying as fuck
Revolver master race. Seriously, it can't be stopped.
Covert Training 3
Reviver 3
First Aid Training 2
Since you only have one weapon, you can literally pour all of your early funds into getting the revolver to Level 2. And with Reviver 3 and First Aid 2, if you are sticking with teammates and picking them up and healing them constantly, you are guaranteed to have enough parts for armor and ammo at all times.
Also, having smokebombs and an upgraded wood handy is an absolute lifesaver. Getting rushed? Throw the smokebomb, shiv one of the badguys, and more often than not, the other guy is gonna try and punch your shit in. But guess what? You've got a 1-hit down strapped to you back.
Man... having the right resources at the right times is half the battle in multiplayer. And honestly, for me, the large firearms feel more like a waste than an actual benefit when the upgraded revolver is just as good—if not better.
