Looks like rumors of a sequel might have a little more weight now.

As much as Naughty Dog can improve in the gameplay by making a sequel, it just seems to me that making one would ruin the narrative of the first one.

It's just hard to say where they'd go with the story.
[sp]I mean, the world still had a long way to go in fixing itself at the end of the first game. Nature was starting to find a balance, but things were still in rough shape for humanity. Maybe Joel and Ellie have a falling out and she goes off on her own, who knows.[/sp]

I think if they did do a sequel focused around grown up Ellie [sp]It could only really start out with the camp she's at being overrun, possibly Joel/Tommy dying in the intro. As much as I love the characters, like really fucking adore them, I think we should move on. The way the game ended so bitter-sweet, it doesn't need an answer. It's perfect the way it is, adding more will only corrupt that I think.. :/[/sp]
I personally like the idea/theory of humanity dying out and nature reclaiming the earth, peaking with [sp]the giraffe scene and later with Joel refusing to potentially save humanity.[/sp] The game doesn't need more to it, and I feel that adding more will most likely just muddle the message.

Playing as a grown up Ellie in a sequel actually sounds pretty amazing, IF they could pull it off... and I don't really have any doubts that Naughty Dog could.
After playing for a bit I can confirm that wharf is the best map and that the enforcer sucks.

The artist that made it keeps flip flopping. Forget where I saw it but he's basically like "It's fan art, guys... well maybe... it's a secret," or something to that effect.
I can't really see ND management letting him work on "fan art" for however long it took him to make it just to stir up the community for shits n giggles. At least, that's what I want to believe. :v:

I know I'm late to this party but I've realised I really don't want a direct sequel because it's just another chance to kill off Ellie or Joel, I was happy with how it ended, if one of them died I would melt. On a side note though, I could really imagine Ellie singing this in the opening cutscene of a new game, near the end revealing her older self with a guitar. after playing this with my friend on launch day
i now own tlou for myself, is the mp any good? we never touched it.
The multiplayer is fantastic. Especially if you have a few buddys to play so you don't get steamrolled by coordinated teams while playing with pubs. And whatever you do
don't sprint
It gets kind of boring fast since it's mostly just death match with some other small side goal.
It's not really all that fun.
Oh awesome, I was assuming ND would force it to be 30 fps to keep it cinematic, but the option to make it 60 is a pleasant surprise. I may pick it up if I ever get a PS4.

It's exact opposite, they are forcing 60 and adding option to run at 30 :v:

I think the MP is a really nice, slow-paced mode. I'd still play it if the only players weren't level 30000 and molotov-spamming pros, it's impossible to jump into it now.

Still kinda hard to tell the difference. Oh by the way, they said they are working on another map pack for multiplayer.
