I am exactly the same Seriously if i actually was the human that fell down and had the undertale adventure, there'd be no way in hell Muffet would just let me walk
but what if you had the meta-knowledge of the game before, would you go out of your way to not kill the spiders?
I found this in my sub-feed.
I swear there's something so fitting about this, I can't get this song out of my head.
why the fuck would a 7 year old cut themselves fucking christ tumblr
Why else would Frisk be wearing a bandage? It's not like he accidentally scraped himself like a normal child.
Why else would Frisk be wearing a bandage? It's not like he accidentally scraped himself like a normal child.
They
Maybe it was to cover up what someone else did to them? Like maybe Papa was a loser with a buckled belt, or Mommy tried to whack the devil out of her kid. Either that, or they really did have a perfectly innocent owie. Could be either or, since we don't really know much about the items beyond two or so lines when you check them. It's not like the item descriptions in the game were written by From Software, after all.
it
"It" tends to be derogatory, or taken as such
dude frisk hiked up a mountain (presumably alone) in a striped t-shirt and some shitty pants, and then fell into a pit. tbh id be more surprised if frisk DIDN'T have a bunch of scrapes and bruises.
did you ever take that gross bandage off
They
They're whatever you want, come on.
A HUGE amount of inspiration hit me, and I thought to myself that no one really touched on the war between humans and monsters. I thought that Heartache would make a good theme for the war.
Actually got me thinking, it might not have been too hard for the humans to simply wipe out all monsters... but they chose to seal them away rather than kill them. I could not help but think what would have happened had they left the monsters be, then my thoughts turned to the various wars humans have fought amongst themselves over the years and the idea that what if monsters and humans fought side by side in both world wars. All it would take is for the wrong human to die next to the wrong monster for a horrible chain reaction to happen, heck thinking about what some night godlike monster would do under the banner of either side would do to win the war and what one on the other side would have to do to stop them, rather scary thought methinks. I mean, you only stop [sp]Asriel/Flowey[/sp] because the souls he absorbs don't agree with what he wants to do and you [sp]call out to them and talk them down[/sp]... but if a soldier fighting under the Germans died next to a monster also fighting under the Germans I imagine they would both be pretty hell bent on destroying the allied forces shit. The end result of this trail of though is something to the tune of, what if the monsters were sealed away out out of fear of monsters themselves but rather the role their power would play on the worlds stage if it ever got out of hand. I dunno, I just like the idea of whomever sealed them underground really not wanting to have to do something, and the fact that you remixed heartache into a theme about said war kinda just fit with my train of thought at the time. Good work either way.
Why else would Frisk be wearing a bandage? It's not like he accidentally scraped himself like a normal child.
it's obviously an adhesive bandage. you know, the kind little kids are always wearing cuz they're clumsy idiots. they could have gotten it from any number of places on the surface toby can't say "band-aid" like we're all used to cuz that's the name of a brand
They
'He' can be a gender neutral pronoun. 'They' isn't really a proper term to call someone because it's plural, not singular. I realize I'm being a grammar nazi, but that's just because you're being a gender nazi.
They
Frisk's gender is open to interpretation, and I'm interpreting it how I see it. Not going any further with this discussion.
'He' can be a gender neutral pronoun. 'They' isn't really a proper term to call someone because it's plural, not singular.
he is literally a pronoun that applies to male though, they can be singular [editline]17th January 2016[/editline]
Frisk's gender is open to interpretation, and I'm interpreting it how I see it. Not going any further with this discussion.
for purposes of discussing them just use gender neutral to save us this discussion again
for purposes of discussing them just use gender neutral to save us this discussion again
Or you can just realize it's a pointless thing to get upset over, and let people refer to the character how they please considering that's the whole point of them being gender neutral in the first place???
he is literally a pronoun that applies to male though, they can be singular [editline]17th January 2016[/editline] for purposes of discussing them just use gender neutral to save us this discussion again
"He - Used to refer to a person whose gender is unspecified or unknown" That's my last bit of input on this. Lets just all calm down and agree that Mew Mew Kissy Cutie 2 is way inferior to Mew Mew Kissy Cutie 1.
Or you can just realize it's a pointless thing to get upset over, and let people refer to the character how they please considering that's the whole point of them being gender neutral in the first place???
because i'm totally the only one who has ever made that comment before, i'm just saying to prevent this happening again it's easier to just use gender neutral pronouns, how hard is that?
Undertale megathread v5 - An award winning RPG where we argue over the main character's gender
Undertale megathread v5 - An award winning RPG where we argue over the main character's gender
YES, that STILL includes Toriel:doghidden:
i mean, i'm probably not gonna end up commenting on it after this post but i'm surely not gonna be the last one to do it, I just personally think it'd be easier for all of us if we didn't give them anything to do this again over
This thread runs on a cycle of arguing over character genders and :dog:posting.
"Lets just all calm down and agree that Mew Mew Kissy Cutie 2 is way inferior to Mew Mew Kissy Cutie 1.
Someone needs to take off their nostalgia goggles and take a good wiff of that SEQUEL QUALITY!
Someone needs to take off their nostalgia goggles and take a good wiff of that SEQUEL QUALITY! Because you...smell with.... your eyeballs?????
Considering the wild variety of monsters, I wouldn't be surprised if some of them actually did. Though having Alphys smell things with her eyes isn't a mental image worth harbouring, unless Toby decides to let her be in a Bloodborne DLC. Thinking about that, it does make me wonder. Though he said he doesn't see the game as a franchise (since in a way it doesn't really need to be), I imagine that he'd be alright with character cameos if they made sense, right? I mean, when it comes to the world of indies, we see our fair share of cameos all over the shop. Isaac has a few even excluding the ones from other Edmund McMillen games, Dust: An Elysian Tail had a mechanic where you could find and free various indie game characters to give you permanent health increases, and the list goes ever on and on. And personally, I'd be fine with seeing Papyrus eating spaghetti in the background of an indie brawler.
