why are you trying to tell people what their 10 dollars are worth
Finally beat the game with Pacifist run through, and while I can understand what you mean about not playing through what equates to about a third of the game, [sp]I need a little time to distance myself from such an excellent ending. Really satisfying emotionally, and it's nice to see how all of the characters you've grown to care about go about living their lives after the barrier goes down.[/sp]
I just got the true pacifist ending and I'm almost crying
Are monsters souls upsidedown or is that just perspective?
They're upside down, it' shown clearly when (Pacifist ending spoilers)[sp]Asriel uses all the souls to break the barrier[/sp]
[sp]I don't know why you're always so dead-set on the first human being a good person when the game provides more than enough evidence to show that they were a manipulative, murderous little shitdemon. they would do anything to get the dumb goat kid to go along with the plan and escape with god powers[/sp]
Inverting the colors didn't work out as well as I hoped but it was interesting to try out!
I just complete True Pacifist for my first playthrough; I'm sad it's over.
I wanted to try out a new style, so I drew Red from that fangame, thoughts?

Red doesn't have any colour so I improvised. (Also, if the lines look wobble or bobbly, it’s supposed to! that’s what the brush does!)
I don't think anyone responded but this is super cute and I like that brush quite a bit. Only problem I had with Red aside from some hamfisted writing though was the fact she just kinda... looks too human I guess? I didn't really get that cool or not.
Drawing wise I feel I should mention that there's something about the bow that looks kinda off, like the lines for it are too thick and it kind of draws the eyes more then anything else because of it.
well I think it's a shame that people let "meta roleplaying" ("I got the happy ending how could I reset that weh so sad ;-;") get in the way of experiencing some good plot, backstory, and some damn good boss fights for themselves
No one will ever experience everything the same way you do. Doing a genocide ending because someone said you should, then mocked your stance on the subject, instead of going down the genocide route to satisfy one's own curiosity, will do much more to diminish the good plot, backstory, and bossfights than watching a playthrough would.

This is a good ass skeleton. Something about the hands is throwing me for a loop (maybe his fingers are too long? I'm not entirely sure) but the linework and black and white are stylish as all hell. Eye might not of super worked out but when everything else is as slick as it is it's a minor nitpick.

I think it's because all the bones on his hands are the same length, the palm bones should be a bit longer than the finger bones, with each bone after being shorter. (Something like this for example)
why are you trying to tell people what their 10 dollars are worth
my opinion is that the entire content of the game's experiences is worth the full 10 dollars and if others disagree, well then that's just too bad for me I guess!
I'm not interested in continuing this discussion because it won't progress any further than "opinions". I've stated my case for playing the entire game, others stated theirs for not, and it isn't a topic worth stretching for more than one page
These clothes are so well made, though. I wish I could draw creases like that

To be fair we do know who's bones are on display in the picture. They're his bones. Which I guess are kinda like our bones. Bone's bones. Bone bone bone.

I'm not sure I'm following
if people are really worried about genocide having an effect on their "happy ending" save then use a virtual machine to do genocide or something
Anyone have a link to that undertale battle creator?
can't seem to find it.
I love the soundtrack to this game, well worth the money.

I found out that Toby sells a lossless version on Bandcamp. I had already got the mp3 from steam, so I bought it again!
just beat the pacifist run, jesus what a great game and even if it was a bit corny with its ''determination & friendship beats anything''-type of boss battle, i still loved it and even teared up at some parts[sp]mostly over asriel, that poor kid[/sp].
i have such fuzzy feelings over that ending i dunno how ill manage a genocide playthrough now lol.
[sp] still kinda confused about flowey and asriel, was flowey just basically a fucked up version of a ''soulless'' asriel or some shit? [/sp]

[sp]he's a flower with a will to live fueled by injected determination and a dead boy's memories[/sp]

From the Librarby
[sp]When a monster is dead, they turn into dust. A monster funeral is a procession where the deceased's dust is spread over their favorite thing in hopes that their essence lives on in that thing[/sp]
From the New Home exposition
[sp]Asriel, after returning home after been beaten by the humans, collapsed and turned to dust over the center of the throne room. He has flower seeds from the human village covering him.[/sp]
From the data entries
[sp]Alphys attempted to use flowers as vessels for souls. As a surprise for Asgore, she takes the first flower that bloomed after Asriel's death and attempts to surprise him by injecting DETERMINATION into it. The flower goes missing shortly after.[/sp]
Put 2 and 2 together.

[sp]Flowey is asriel reincarnated. Genocide goes into a bit more detail about how he slowly turned out to be fucked up.][/sp]
Edit:
[sp]
Edit: oh and if you missed it you might want to run all the way back to the flower mound that broke your fall at the start of the game once you can take a walk before leaving the underground. You'll get a last goodbye and some more exposition. [/sp]

I have no regrets from doing Genocide, because i got to experience the other side of the story and learned a lot more about it too
And honestly, the Genocide exclusive fights are just too fucking great

More games should just allow you to say "Fuck your good hero bull" and just be the bad guy :v:
This is why I love this game so much. You HAVE TO play through every run to find everything and I mean EVERYTHING out yourself. Finding out stuff through watching let's plays or reading it up instead isn't as fun or rewarding.
It is a great thing. But determined as I am, I just wish that we, by which I mean Frisk and the player, could use what we've learned to try and save the last piece of the puzzle. So that, if I did go Genocide, it would be so that the both of us know what could be done.
I would be fine with Frisk falling down the same rabbit-hole that [sp]Flowey[/sp] did. [sp]Reading every book. Burning every book. Helping everyone. Killing everyone.[/sp] But unlike [sp]Flowey[/sp] who did it because they wanted to do everything that they could in the world, possibly to fill a certain void, I like to imagine that Frisk, under the control of [sp]the "anomaly", aka the player[/sp], would do it because they're trying to save the one they couldn't truly save the first time around. And with that determination, they'd keep on trying, trying to find a solution to a gnawing problem that stuck with them long after they [sp]left the underground[/sp].
[sp]And if they have to drag everyone back into hell in the process? What's another week or two down there, compared to the countless centuries they already endured? Just a little longer, and this time EVERYONE would be able to go free.[/sp] That's the kind of "extended cut" I'd like to see. That's the kind of material that, if locked behind both Pacifist and Genocide, would drive me to go Genocide. Because you'd be doing it for a reason. Because, after all the havoc wrought, and all the harsh lessons learnt, you'd be one step closer to solving the ultimate puzzle, to get to the root of everything. [sp]How to save Asriel, and how to bring Chara to their knees, broken by the weight of their sins.[/sp] And in the end, when [sp]Asriel has a soul and Chara is no longer in your way[/sp], you'd truly be able to wonder "Was it worth it? With all that I've done, all that I've gone through, can the ends justify the means? Do I deserve to share their happiness?"
