Your definition of "meme" is way off.
I didn't see a single 'epic' caption anywhere in there, nor did I see any randomly spouted nonsense.
Now, if it was some shitty rage comic style picture with some "I can haz" captions slapped on, then your argument would have some ground.
As it is, it's just a [sp]funny[/sp], and clever comic someone slapped together.

I'm not an American and I was like 9-years-old when it happened. I have no emotional attachment to that tragedy but I'm tired of it being constantly being brought up, especially since I did eight years of my schooling in an American school and they hammered the shit into non-Americans like me to the point that we ridiculed it.

I'd laugh, but I've seen too many 9/11 jokes of that caliber in the span of eight fucking years so I'm like the grumpy senior who's tired of kids messing around in my lawn that has been happening for [I]two generations.[/I]

That's where the problem is, to a lot of Americans 9/11 is off-limits when it comes to jokes, but actually potentially-offensive shit like Allahu Akbar jokes or Hitler jokes are A-ok (I'm ok with either of those, but it could be offensive to others)

Which I find really weird. It's just one tragedy, where only a few hundreds died. The USA was founded over the corpses of hundred of thousands more, not to mention some of the recent Terrorist attacks are already forgotten simply because they weren't in America-land
