Naturally, with Gaster erased from existence and stretched across the game's code, this left Sans as the only one who inherently knew about the resets - but he sums them up under the player rather than Flowey since no one actually knew Flowey existed besides Papyrus and Alphys, neither of whom knew his intents and the latter having wrote him off who knows how long ago. It's also implied throughout the game that people very, very, VERY loosely remember Gaster, but delving into the stuff surrounding him shows that anyone who actually remembered him to a notable extent joined him in non-existence. Except Sans.[/sp]

So.. With this latest update, it seems like a lot of shit was added, expanding the backstory a bit. Is Undertale pretty much finished and that was a one-time thing or is he going to add on to it in the coming months, embellishing more details about the universe it's in?

People thus think it's connected to Gaster since he has the hidden data log where he talks about darkness.

Major plot changes or endings like [sp]saving Asriel, reuniting a happy goat family, or anything on the surface[/sp] has been speculated and built upon with fanfics and whatnot, so no matter what he would do there it would seem like he's caving in to fan desires, and honestly Toby seems too based of a developer to do that [sp]even though Asriel deserves a happy ending[/sp]. Additional stuff like expanding upon [sp]Gaster, the time machine, anything with Sans or Papyrus[/sp] is probably easier to work lore wise with since everything is made to be so vague/meta, but its also fine left alone as is. He could also give a little more backstory into why Frisk went up the mountain or [sp]clarification on Chara's origins and motivation[/sp] but its completely unnecessary. A few little things like dialogue or making Alphys's posts optional are easy fixes but its not a reason for an update alone. The stuff we just got was put in as part of bug fixes and helping colorblind players see blue attacks. I feel like a spoiled brat wanting more content from Toby since its his game that he poured his heart and soul into making, and one person shouldn't have to submit to his hoards of fans [sp]but god dammit I need proper closure for the time machine and goat family[/sp]

I have to ask because I am really curious, how many people have had problems fighting Muffet? I see often of this thread of people saying how hard she was in a battle, but I beat her on my first try. This was before even knowing about [Spoiler on the Muffet Fight][sp]being able to skip the fight with spider donut/cider[/sp], and while really low on money to pay her with. The only boss battles I had trouble with were [Neutral boss spoiler][sp]Asgore[/sp] and [Neutral boss spoiler][sp]Photoshop/Omega Flowey[/sp]. (Probably also the Genocide bosses, but I have not gone through with a genocide run as of yet.)

I'm not 100% sure about the flstudio part, but it's definitely not gaster.[/sp]

My only death was to [sp]Asgore before I figured out you couldn't just talk to him. I didn't even die to Omega Flowey somehow.[/sp] As a word of note to gamepad players out there: For almost all battles a controller works just fine, but if you're having trouble with Muffet, try a keyboard. A gamepad is really painful to use in the Muffet fight.

He knows you've been fucking around with timelines, so he probably knows you've seen papyrus's special attack[/sp]
